Yansheng Dong, Ph.D., Associate Research Fellow. Research interests: drug toxicology and toxicologic pathology. With 20 years of experience in non-clinical drug safety evaluation research, he has undertaken more than 300 specialized safety assessment projects.

Formerly served as Party Secretary and Deputy Director of the National Beijing Center for Drug Safety Evaluation and Research, Institute of Toxicology and Pharmacology, Academy of Military Medical Sciences. Currently serves as a member of the Committee on Drug Toxicology and Safety Assessment, the Committee on Toxicology of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Natural Products, and the Committee on Toxicologic Pathology of the Chinese Society of Toxicology; also holds positions as a Chinese Veterinary Pathologist, Member of the Society of Toxicologic Pathology (USA), NMPA Expert for New Drug Review, NMPA Expert for Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Inspection of Drugs, NMPA Expert for Medical Device Review, and Drug Review Expert for the Beijing Municipal Medical Products Administration.
