In the blink of an eye, the progress bar for 2020 has reached the 50% mark, ushering in a new phase for the second half of the year. During the first half, numerous major pharmaceutical exhibitions were forced to cancel due to the impact of the pandemic. However, as pivotal events fostering the development of the pharmaceutical distribution industry, the significance of these exhibitions in promoting the deep integration of information technology with the pharmaceutical sector is self-evident. Especially against the current extraordinary backdrop, pharmaceutical exhibitions have been entrusted with the critical mission of “boosting confidence, resolving predicaments, and driving the growth of related enterprises.”

Yaojingcai is a one-stop transaction and comprehensive service platform for pharmaceutical retail terminals under JD Health. It currently provides full coverage across China’s pharmaceutical manufacturing and commercial systems, as well as over 170,000 pharmaceutical endpoints, demonstrating significant advantages in channels and supply chain. Leveraging the robust resources of JD Health’s flagship assets—including JD Pharmacy and JD Internet Hospital—as well as the strong brand influence of JD.com, this Cloud Pharmaceutical Fair offers substantial opportunities and promising prospects for professionals in the pharmaceutical industry.
It is understood that the scale of this “Cloud Pharmaceutical Fair” will far exceed that of traditional offline exhibitions. The opening ceremony is expected to attract over one million viewers, with more than 200,000 registered professional attendees and a total of over 5 million visits. More than 500 companies will participate, and over 200 live-streaming sessions will be held. During the “Cloud Pharmaceutical Fair,” Yaojingcai will leverage its robust resource integration capabilities to provide customers with four key empowerment services: “branding + supply chain + business operation scenarios + data.”
In response to the application scenarios of the “Cloud Pharmaceutical Fair,” JD Health has specially launched the “Cloud Pharmaceutical Fair APP.” By precisely matching data between exhibitors and attendees, the app delivers personalized information and product recommendations to each user, thereby facilitating precision marketing for participating enterprises. Furthermore, the app is integrated with the “Yaojingcai” APP to help businesses achieve a closed-loop transaction process from exhibition participation to order conversion, accelerating the digital transformation of traditional pharmaceutical companies.
During the conference, JD Health will invite senior industry practitioners—including senior health experts from the World Bank, experts from the State Council’s Healthcare Reform Leading Group, and executives from leading global pharmaceutical companies—to engage in in-depth discussions on topics such as innovative development of China’s pharmaceutical industry, digital transformation of the sector, and industry innovation driven by medical insurance, thereby providing strategic insights for the industry. Meanwhile, leveraging the online and digital nature of the entire exhibition, JD Health will also utilize JD’s big data capabilities for data mining and analysis to promote the intelligent development of the industry.
It is reported that during the Cloud Pharmaceutical Fair, partners across all segments of the pharmaceutical industry chain—including foreign pharmaceutical companies, pharmaceutical distributors, and insurance enterprises—will engage in a series of noteworthy signing ceremonies. In addition, Keyuan Trade has joined hands with JD Health to co-establish the Foreign Enterprise Pavilion, collaborating with international pharmaceutical companies to participate in the Cloud Pharmaceutical Fair. Notably, the Cloud Pharmaceutical Fair has waived booth fees for Hubei-based exhibitors such as Ma Yinglong, aiming to assist businesses affected by the pandemic in resuming normal operations. JD Health, together with its partners, will comprehensively showcase the significant potential of the “Internet + Healthcare” ecosystem to the industry, establishing the Cloud Pharmaceutical Fair as a “new calling card” for the pharmaceutical sector.
