Calling for More "Professional and Compassionate" Care Services

The COVID-19 outbreak in 2020 posed a significant challenge to China’s healthcare industry, while also accelerating the digital transformation of public hospitals into internet hospitals. However, in the aftermath of the surge in internet hospital development, how to truly empower hospitals through “Internet+” initiatives and guide patients toward adopting new healthcare-seeking habits remains a critical challenge that many hospitals still need to address.

Dedicated to serving public hospitals, Weimai presented a highly practical, localized one-stop solution to conference attendees, building on its foundation of local physical hospital operations. Leveraging professional operational capabilities and internet technology applications, Weimai has efficiently established full-cycle, refined management and operational service platforms for over 1,000 hospitals across China. By combining these platforms with Weimai’s localized professional operations teams, the company helps public hospitals achieve“From in-hospital to out-of-hospital, from offline to online, from single-visit to cyclical care, from random to personalized”a series of service innovations and transformations.

Integrated maternity care, abortion care, child health management, home-based medical and nursing services, physical examination centers, weight management, cervical health care, postpartum care centers… Transitioning from “Cure” to broader “Care,” Weimai’s one-stop internet hospital solution is not only helping public hospitals rapidly respond to national policies and enhance and innovate in-hospital medical and health services, but also gaining increasing attention and acclaim from hospitals across China.

An In-Depth Look at How the “Weimai Model” Empowers

Over the three-day exhibition, key representatives from Weimai’s four major business centers took turns presenting, offering clear and accessible insights into the company’s strategic approach to building its internet hospital and its innovative operational models. Hospital delegations from across China visited the Weimai booth to attend these presentations and engage in in-depth discussions with the respective business leaders.

Public hospitals, which are perennially busy and overcrowded, often struggle to track patients’ out-of-hospital health status and follow-up treatment outcomes, facing high rates of patient attrition outside the hospital and low service satisfaction. Weimai’s professional medical team continuously identifies patients’ latent health management needs, and pioneered precise, in-depth localized operations as the first company nationwide, with simultaneous deployment across the patient-facing, physician-facing, and department-facing platforms, helping hospitals build trust and connectivity between doctors and patients, and achieving optimized integration of in-hospital and social traffic.

From “Refined Full-Path Management of ‘Internet+’ Maternal and Child Health Services” to “Lean Management of ‘Internet+’ Extended Services for Single Diseases,” and from “Application and Practice of Integrated Online-Offline Internet Hospitals” to “Upgrading and Innovation of Specialty Services Based on Data Intelligence Assistance,” Weimai’s hands-on operational practices—often lacking among other on-site exhibitors—drew many hospital IT managers to stop and listen.
