Second Healthy China Innovation Communication Conference and Seventh China Medical Brand Building Conference Announced

Since the beginning of this year, the COVID-19 epidemic has swept across China. Health communication professionals nationwide have leveraged the internet and new media as a new battleground to disseminate scientific knowledge, debunk rumors, and guide public opinion, contributing significantly to the decisive victory in the epidemic prevention and control campaign. To summarize practical experiences in health communication during the anti-epidemic period, enhance the capacity of health communication professionals to respond to major sudden public health emergencies through effective health communication and public opinion guidance, and share Chinese solutions with the world, the Health Communication Working Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association will hold the Second Healthy China Innovative Communication Conference and the Seventh China Medical Brand Building Conference in Boao, Hainan, from September 24 to 27.

The conference is an annual gathering for health communication professionals and new media practitioners across China. We sincerely invite colleagues to attend, share in this academic feast, engage in thorough exchanges, share insights and resources, and strengthen friendships. Officials in charge of relevant departments from the government and health commissions, administrators of medical institutions, health publicity personnel, scholars specializing in health communication, members of the Health Communication Working Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, operators of media platforms, and professionals involved in new media. The expected number of attendees is 1,200–1,500.

The paperless conference system for the event (including the registration system, membership application system, and showcase system, among others) is now officially open. (I) Conference Registration Fee

1. The conference registration fee covers the conference service fee, materials fee, and meals during the conference; transportation and accommodation expenses are to be borne by attendees themselves;

2. Please promptly pay the conference registration fee through the registration system, and apply for and issue the electronic invoice directly online at the same time.

(II) Conference Registration Method

1. On the homepage of the paperless conference system, please click the “Registration” button to submit the relevant registration information, and follow the system prompts to complete the payment of the conference registration fee and the issuance of the invoice (only upon completion of payment will the registration be considered successful).

2. All attendees must register using their personal WeChat accounts; multiple registrations per account are not permitted.

3. Conference fees for individual members of the Health Communication Working Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association may be waived or reduced at discretion.

4. Special Notice: The conference registration is capped at 1,500 participants. On-site seating will be arranged based on the order of registration. Please register promptly.

Two working days after the successful transfer, you may log in to the conference paperless meeting system and click the “Payment Inquiry” button to view your payment records. Please note that a hotel room is considered successfully booked only after the accommodation fee has been fully paid. Accommodation invoices will be uniformly issued by the front desk upon check-in.

The Healthy China Innovation Communication Conference serves as the annual meeting of the Health Communication Working Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association. All provincial health communication working committees and academic groups are requested to diligently organize participation. Members of the Health Communication Working Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, as well as provincial group members of the committee, should make proper arrangements to ensure their active attendance and engagement in learning opportunities.

According to the Management Regulations of the Health Communication Working Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, members who fail to assign personnel to attend the Committee’s major events for two consecutive years shall automatically have their membership revoked.
