On-Site Launch Ceremony for the Evaluation of the Lingyan Medical Research Platform

Lingyan Medical Research Platform Expert Review Meeting Site
On September 2, 2020, the evaluation and review results for the Lingyan Medical Research Platform, organized by the Beijing Medical Doctor Association, were announced. The process consisted of two phases: evaluation and review. On July 24, the Beijing Medical Doctor Association conducted a trial run of the Lingyan Medical Research Platform. Twenty-five young and middle-aged physicians from multiple Grade III Class A and Grade II Class A hospitals in Beijing participated in the trial. After more than a month of use, the physicians provided positive feedback and expressed satisfaction with the platform.

Address by Guo Jiyong, President of the Beijing Medical Doctor Association
Attendees from the Beijing Medical Doctor Association included President Guo Jiyong and Chairman of the Board of Supervisors Zhao Tao. In his address, President Guo affirmed the value of the Lingyan Medical Research Platform and expressed hope that it would contribute to enhancing physicians’ research capabilities. Under the auspices of the Beijing Medical Doctor Association, 25 physicians submitted evaluation reports, all of which received an “Excellent” rating.

Zhao Tao, Supervisor of the Beijing Medical Doctor Association, at the Expert Review Meeting
To ensure a fairer, more impartial, and transparent evaluation process, on September 2, the Beijing Medical Doctor Association organized a rigorous, serious, and scientific review of the Lingyan Medical Research Platform and its trial results. The expert review panel was led by Professor Zhou Baoli, Vice President of the Association, and comprised nine senior and authoritative experts from fields including clinical medicine, public health, artificial intelligence, and academic publishing (the review results are attached below). The panel also provided constructive suggestions and recommendations for the platform’s future development and functional enhancements. Based on the expert review meeting and evaluations conducted by 25 physicians, the Beijing Medical Doctor Association issued a comprehensive evaluation report.
Chen Chen, founder of Beijing Lingyan Technology Co., Ltd., stated that the Lingyan Medical Research Platform is dedicated to lowering barriers to research, enhancing research efficiency, reducing research costs, and cultivating research talent. By professionally streamlining medical research processes and leveraging AI-driven innovative services for medical research support, the platform provides intelligent service support for medical professionals and hospital administrators to the greatest extent possible.
In accordance with the overall strategic deployment of the National Health and Family Planning Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and other relevant authorities, clinical medical research will serve as a driver for the open sharing of scientific and technological achievements in the field of health and hygiene, as well as for the development of market-oriented technology transfer and commercialization. This constitutes the original intention behind establishing the Zero Research Medical Research Platform.

Xu Shuo, Vice President of the Beijing Medical Doctor Association
During the review of the Zero Research Medical Research Platform, Xu Shuo, Vice President of the Beijing Medical Doctor Association, stated that strengthening the development of the clinical physician workforce and enhancing their professional competence have been key initiatives in recent years. While physicians possess extensive clinical experience, they often lack sufficient expertise in scientific research, leading to numerous challenges and difficulties in conducting research. From a functional perspective, the Zero Research Medical Research Platform proves beneficial in supporting physicians’ research endeavors.

Professor Zhou Baoli, Vice President of the Beijing Medical Doctor Association, Summarizes the Expert Review Meeting
Following the review and evaluation meeting for the Lingyan Medical Research Platform, Professor Zhou Baoli, Head of the Expert Review Panel and Vice President of the Beijing Medical Doctor Association, stated: “We hope that the Lingyan Medical Research Platform will continue to deepen its research and development in accordance with the expert panel’s recommendations, further improve platform construction, and provide robust support for young and middle-aged physicians in conducting medical scientific research.”
