Two world-class centers for online trading and quality inspection of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) materials will be unveiled at the conference. In July this year, Shandong launched China’s largest innovation consortium for the TCM industry. The establishment of these two world-class centers will further drive innovation in the TCM sector and help build a global distribution system.

The World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS) and Shandong (Jinan) Big Health Industry Group have joined forces to establish a world-class Research Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Jinan. The two parties will engage in in-depth cooperation in areas including the digital inheritance of TCM, research and demonstration applications of prevention, treatment, and management models for diseases where TCM holds distinct advantages, the transformation of scientific and technological achievements related to key TCM technologies and equipment, overseas digital TCM education, and global internet-based TCM healthcare services. By leveraging their respective strengths, they will jointly build a world-class Digital TCM Research Institute, enhance TCM service capabilities both domestically and internationally, and promote the development of the health industry, thereby making innovative contributions to realizing the "Healthy China" dream and building a community of common health for mankind.

Jinan, the Spring City and hometown of Bian Que, serves as the provincial capital of Shandong Province, which has a population exceeding 100 million. The Municipal Committee and Municipal Government of Jinan place particular emphasis on the informatization and internet integration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Recently, key leaders of the municipal government issued specific instructions to “prioritize research into the development of a TCM management (information) system and promote the enhanced role of TCM in public health.” To this end, following in-depth discussions and meticulous preparation, the Jinan Municipal Health Commission and the Jinan Municipal Healthcare Security Administration will enter into a comprehensive strategic partnership with a leading domestic internet healthcare group.
