Health Week Launched for the First Time: Delivering Care to Male Patients

As one of the collaborating partners, Jianke Fangzhou Internet Hospital provided strong support for the series of live-streamed popular science sessions on men’s health during Health Week, simultaneously broadcasting them across its two major new media platforms: the Jianke Hospital and Jianke Doctor APPs.

It is reported that in recent years, Jianke has successively obtained operating licenses for multiple internet hospitals, including the Jianke Fangzhou Internet Hospital affiliated with the People’s Hospital of Tumxuk City in Xinjiang and the Jingtai Jianke Internet Hospital in Guangzhou. By pioneering a new model featuring initial offline consultations followed by online follow-up visits, Jianke has delivered more efficient, high-quality, stable, and continuous medical services to a broader patient population, particularly those with chronic diseases. Currently, the platform has attracted over 200,000 registered physicians from across China, benefiting more than 20 million users seeking online medical consultations and prescriptions. Key metrics—including the number of partnered pharmaceutical companies, active user traffic, and year-over-year revenue growth—lead the industry.

This Health Week campaign was jointly launched by 12 academic organizations specializing in andrology, including the Andrology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, the Andrology Branch of the China Association of Chinese Medicine, and the Reproductive Medicine Branch of the China Association of Chinese Medicine. Centered on the theme “Safeguarding Men’s Health, Building a Healthy China Together,” the event runs from October 25 to 31, featuring a series of live-streamed popular science lectures on male diseases delivered by authoritative experts. Academician Guo Yinglu, founder of Western medical andrology in China, and Academician Wang Qi, founder of modern traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) andrology, both members of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, serve as chief advisors.

Notably, this Health Week marks the first such initiative in China. Launched against the backdrop of a concerning landscape for men’s health nationwide, it leverages the advantages of the internet to deliver a series of integrated online and offline activities—including public education on men’s health, free urological and andrological consultations, live Q&A sessions, and the provision of medical services and medications. The aim is to raise public awareness and enhance understanding of men’s health issues.

During the campaign, these 12 andrology academic organizations disseminated content on men’s health topics through multiple platforms via authoritative science popularization short films, medical education short videos, live health broadcasts, and prize-winning essay contests. Meanwhile, they mobilized nearly 1,000 medical institutions to carry out public welfare activities such as online consultations and free online clinics, as well as offline free clinics and patient education initiatives, thereby extending care to a broad population of male patients.

Jianke Takes the Lead as the Main Live-Streaming Hub, Delivering Engaging Science Popularization in Diverse Formats

This Men's Health Week featured simultaneous live broadcasts on Jianke's new media matrix platforms—Jianke Hospital and the Jianke Doctor APP. The campaign launched a series of short educational videos titled “Safeguarding Men's Health,” inviting renowned Chinese experts in andrology and urology to address common men's health concerns through 1–2 minute Q&A segments. Following the event, this video series continues to provide authoritative yet accessible health education to the public.

In addition, during Men’s Health Week, Jianke’s two major platforms will host daily live broadcasts in the “Health Live Room” segment, inviting authoritative andrology experts to engage in online discussions with followers. Through these interactive sessions, they will provide engaging and accessible education on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of andrological diseases. Since the campaign launched on October 25, Jianke has conducted multiple live streams across its two platforms, with activities continuing through October 31 to fully support and amplify the Men’s Health Week initiative.

Speaking of which, Jianke is already a seasoned veteran in the field of medical science popularization live streaming, with extensive experience. Its flagship program, “Jianke Famous Doctors Talk,” specifically launched a week-long live streaming event featuring industry experts focused on men's health topics during this year's Qixi Festival. The cumulative number of online viewers exceeded 4 million, and interactive comments surpassed 3.2 million, once setting off a frenzy on the internet.

The Qixi Festival live-streaming event is a key component of Jianke’s strategic layout in the field of disease science popularization and education, as well as a bold attempt to guide the public toward an upgraded health concept that shifts from “treatment at the backend” to “prevention at the frontend.” Leveraging the successful incubation and expanding influence of this “Internet Healthcare + Live Streaming” IP, which has garnered industry attention and recognition, it has become one of the primary platforms for hosting the live broadcasts during the inaugural Men’s Health Week.
