Zhang Yuhui, Deputy Director of the Health Development Research Center of the National Health Commission, stated at the conference that, according to calculations by the Health Development Research Center of the National Health Commission, “In 2018, the total scale of China’s health service industry (value added of the health industry) reached RMB 6.3698 trillion, a 12.4% increase from 2017, accounting for 7.08% of GDP.”
