According to reports, nearly three years after the implementation of the strategy for innovative development of the Industrial Internet, China’s Industrial Internet has entered a fast lane. The construction of new infrastructure has advanced rapidly, integrated innovative applications have deepened continuously, and the industrial ecosystem has kept expanding in scale. In terms of 5G commercialization, a cumulative total of 690,000 5G base stations have been deployed, with over 160 million connected users, placing China at a globally leading position. In the healthcare sector, a wide range of application scenarios has emerged, including remote consultations, remote ultrasound, remote surgery, emergency rescue, intelligent triage guidance, and mobile nursing care. During the pandemic, 5G networks served dual purposes, catering to both societal consumer demands and professional medical applications. They permeated every link from diagnosis and treatment to prevention and control, achieving deep integration with various scenarios and providing comprehensive support for epidemic prevention and control efforts.
At a critical juncture for Hubei’s post-pandemic revitalization, the convening of the Special Conference on 5G + Medical Health will help Hubei further consolidate and amplify its advantages, offering new insights for building new digital health infrastructure and supporting the healthy development of the industry. The conference will primarily be conducted in an offline format, while simultaneously organizing 5G cloud live streaming online. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as 5G and VR/AR, it aims to create a 360-degree panoramic space and an immersive audio-visual experience featuring a “cloud + terminal + network + screen” ecosystem. During the conference, a series of ancillary activities will be held concurrently, including supporting exhibitions, industry matchmaking, on-site signing ceremonies, achievement releases, and field investigations. Through physical displays, videos, and on-site interactions, these activities will showcase industry applications of “5G + Medical Health” and facilitate the signing and implementation of a batch of digital economy projects.
