On November 21, the “Neusoft Solutions Forum 2020,” hosted by Neusoft Corporation (SH.600718), opened in Nanning. In his opening address, Dr. Liu Jiren, Chairman and CEO of Neusoft, stated that with the widespread adoption and deepening application of software technologies, software will become a tool for building the ecosystem of a digital society, ushering in an era characterized by greater openness, integration, and innovation.

In his keynote address titled “The Ecosystem Era of Software,” Liu Jiren pointed out that humanity has entered a digital society, with an increasing number of new businesses created by digital technologies. As networks and digital devices become increasingly ubiquitous, every industry is crossing traditional boundaries to transform into a technology, internet, and software industry.
Liu Jiren stated that in recent years, with the development and widespread adoption of information technology and the continuous expansion of digital commercial scale, technology is evolving from creating value in isolation to building a new ecosystem centered on empowerment. Technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and supercomputing will integrate with 5G and future intelligent networks. The internet will transition from traditionally connecting people to connecting everything; from serving merely as a connectivity channel to becoming a computable network; from facilitating information transmission to enabling knowledge acquisition; and from addressing general problems to constructing personalized networks. Liu Jiren emphasized that all these developments will provide greater room for growth for software and create a more integrated and open ecosystem.
Liu Jiren stated that the business rules, social structures, data privacy, system security, and inequalities between digital and non-digital spaces in a digital society will be the greatest challenges of the new digital ecosystem era, as well as the primary issues that future technologies need to address. Liu Jiren emphasized that trust will become the soul of the digital economy. Relying on big data technology to cover a vast number of diverse entities with more diversified data and provide precisely matched services has already become a reality.
Discussing the COVID-19 pandemic, Liu Jiren noted that while many industries and enterprises hit the “pause button” since the outbreak, Neusoft chose to press the “fast-forward button” from the very beginning. The pandemic has validated and enhanced Neusoft’s long-standing big health ecosystem. By joining forces with member companies of the Neusoft Big Health Industry Alliance, Neusoft Corporation has fully leveraged its technological and resource advantages, contributing to the fight against the epidemic through the power of software.
Following the outbreak of the epidemic, in response to strained resources within domestic medical institutions and the urgent need to upgrade information systems for public health and social security, Neusoft took swift action. It rapidly launched the “Epidemic Self-Reporting” platform, providing free assistance to grassroots personnel in collecting information; dispatched multiple professional teams to various regions to help medical institutions promptly upgrade their informatization systems; and released the “Sharp Sword” comprehensive IT solution for epidemic prevention and control. By empowering hardware with software, Neusoft introduced the “Five Epidemic Prevention Guardians,” a series of smart terminal products designed to effectively control the spread of the virus, thereby ensuring safety for hospitals in their anti-epidemic efforts, enterprises resuming work, and individuals returning to their posts.Neusoft Medical Systems, a subsidiary of Neusoft, donated large-scale medical imaging equipment and software worth a total of RMB 27 million to Wuhan. It also rapidly developed and launched new products such as the “Leishen” Mobile Cabin CT and “Huoyan” AI to combat the epidemic. Notably, the “Leishen” Mobile Cabin CT went from research and development and validation to order-based production in just seven days. Furthermore, Neusoft Medical provided CT scanners, including the “Leishen” Mobile Cabin CT, to many countries worldwide, supporting over thirty nations—including Kenya, Brazil, Chile, Thailand, Peru, Ecuador, and Vietnam—in their fight against the epidemic. Additionally, Neusoft Neukang, another subsidiary, leveraged its internet healthcare platform, Neukang Cloud Hospital, to establish a free “Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Consultation Zone” and disseminate professional knowledge on epidemic prevention and control.
At the conclusion of his speech, Liu Jiren stated that Neusoft is approaching its 30th anniversary. Over the past three decades, Neusoft has deeply integrated software into people’s lives and societal transformation, continuously co-evolving with new technologies to serve as a carrier for the digital economy. Software increasingly embodies both capability and responsibility; choosing the software industry means embracing continuous challenge and change. Looking ahead, Neusoft will continue to work hand in hand with its customers and partners to unlock the boundless potential of software, drive social progress, and create a better life.
