On November 25, the “DXY·Dingxiang Doctor Vaccine Service Platform Ecosystem Co-building Launch Conference” was held in Shanghai, officially announcing that renowned domestic and international vaccine manufacturers—including Merck & Co., GSK, Sinovac Biotech, and Hualan Biological Engineering—would collaborate with Dingxiang Doctor and the DXY Clinic Development Alliance to jointly build a vaccine service platform. This initiative aims to establish an integrated online-to-offline channel for non-EPI (Expanded Program on Immunization) vaccines, while providing the public with authoritative vaccine education, vaccination appointment services, and management of post-vaccination adverse reactions. Previously, Pfizer and Sanofi had already partnered with Dingxiang Doctor in the field of vaccine science communication.
This is also the first vaccine platform co-built with direct participation from key players in the vaccine industry chain, such as vaccine manufacturers and clinic vaccination sites, marking DXY, China’s leading internet healthcare service platform, officially entering the “Internet + Vaccines” sector.
Currently, the DXY Vaccine Service Platform has launched vaccination services for various vaccines, including HPV, influenza, and shingles. Users can log in through DXY-affiliated channels—such as the WeChat Official Accounts (DXY, DXY Mom, DXY+), the DXY Mom app, and the DXY Family WeChat Mini Program—click on “Vaccine Appointment” to locate nearby vaccination sites, and complete online bookings. Upon successful online appointment, qualified offline clinics will administer the vaccinations and manage any post-vaccination adverse reactions.
Currently, the platform has integrated approximately 100 clinics across 18 cities in China. The cumulative number of vaccine appointments has exceeded 65,000 doses, covering Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Tianjin, Shenyang, Nanjing, Xi’an, and other regions, with this scale continuing to expand.
Chuyang, Vice President of DXY, stated, “DXY is committed to the development of both upstream and downstream segments of the industry. Our integrated ecosystem encompasses physician education, patient education, as well as channel development and standardized offline services. Over the next two years, DXY will not seek profitability from its vaccine service platform and will not impose any additional fees on institutional partners or end users. We will focus on enhancing efficiency for all three parties to ensure that vaccine services are truly accessible.”
Chu Yang, Vice President of DXY

Dingxiang Doctor Vaccine Service Platform
Currently, information asymmetry in the healthcare sector is particularly pronounced in the field of vaccines. A survey by Guyu Data reveals that more than 88,000 people die annually from influenza-related illnesses in China, yet the domestic influenza vaccination rate stands at only around 2%, compared to 60%–70% in developed countries in Europe and America. Most Chinese consumers lack clear understanding of when to get vaccinated, whether they should be vaccinated, and how to receive the vaccine.
Dingxiang Doctor is a key strategic initiative launched by the Dingxiangyuan Group in recent years to address user health needs. It has established a comprehensive ecosystem spanning from health education to online medical consultations. With over 50 million health-conscious users on new media platforms, it consistently ranks at the top of various health-related charts and stands as a leading brand in the field of health science communication. Vaccination, as a critical disease prevention measure impacting national welfare and people's livelihoods, is one of Dingxiang Doctor’s priority areas for public health education.
It is reported that since the launch of DXY’s vaccine appointment platform three months ago, 28,000 people have made appointments, with health-conscious users from DXY constituting the primary group.
Bai Hua, Executive Chairman and CEO of Yuanhe Healthcare, stated that during the collaboration with the Dingxiang Vaccine Appointment Platform, appointment volumes remained generally stable. Furthermore, as these users had already received comprehensive vaccination education through Dingxiang Doctor, they possessed a thorough understanding of vaccination eligibility, expected efficacy, and potential side effects, thereby significantly reducing communication costs for vaccination providers.
At the press conference, DXY announced that it would establish close partnerships with major vaccine manufacturers. Merck, GSK, Sinovac Biotech, and Hualan Biological Engineering all expressed their intention to collaborate with DXY in building a vaccine service platform. Additionally, it was reported that Pfizer and Sanofi Pasteur had previously partnered with DXY on public science education initiatives related to vaccines, aiming to enhance public awareness and accessibility of vaccination.
As a key co-builder of the platform, the DXY Clinic Development Alliance has demonstrated its unique value. To integrate high-quality primary healthcare resources across the industry, DXY launched the Clinic Development Alliance in 2018, providing reliable solutions to primary care practitioners. The alliance has amassed nearly 100,000 users from primary healthcare institutions, covering most regions across China. Its Cloud Manager system has cumulatively served over 2,000 primary healthcare institutions domestically, and it continues to work alongside the industry to explore new possibilities for development.
These conditions constitute the unique advantages of DXY’s Vaccine Service Platform. As one of the first internet healthcare companies in China to establish direct collaborations with vaccine manufacturers and vaccination sites, DXY is able to provide users with a more affordable, stable, and transparent vaccine appointment experience. Furthermore, by leveraging the strength of the DXY Clinic Development Alliance, it can enhance the management and scale of offline clinic vaccination sites, thereby ensuring quality post-vaccination services for users.
Huang Yanling, Head of Marketing for MSD’s Vaccine Division, stated that MSD will collaborate with DXY to support the development of a preventive healthcare ecosystem, enhance vaccination efficiency, improve consumer willingness and experience, and expand access to vaccines.
In the future, DXY plans to leverage its extensive existing resources of clinics and users with vaccination needs to enhance the vaccination service capabilities of private clinics, assisting the clinic industry in building standardized, high-quality medical institutions.
Li Tiantian, founder and chairman of DXY, stated that DXY has always adhered to its corporate strategy of serving both healthcare professionals and patients. In the future, it will collaborate with more suppliers to provide high-quality solutions for the healthcare industry.
