On November 24, 2020, the unveiling ceremony for the Shuming Tech–Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence (hereinafter referred to as the “Joint Laboratory”), jointly established by Shanghai Shuming Artificial Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Shuming Tech”) and the Institute of Artificial Intelligence at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (hereinafter referred to as the “Institute”), was grandly held at the Shibei High-Tech Business Center in Shanghai. Zheng Huiqiang, President of the Shanghai Federation of Modern Service Industries, former Standing Committee Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, and former Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People’s Congress; Zhang Yuxiang, General Manager of Shanghai Shibei High-Tech Group Co., Ltd.; Yang Xiaokang, Deputy Dean of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence at Shanghai Jiao Tong University; Chen Jianwu, Chairman of Chaoheng (Shanghai) Industrial Co., Ltd.; Xiang Liang, General Manager of Shanghai Shuming Artificial Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd.; and other relevant leaders and corporate representatives attended the event, jointly witnessing this milestone moment.

At the plaque-awarding ceremony, President Zheng Huiqiang and General Manager Zhang Yuxiang delivered speeches in succession, expressing their best wishes for the joint laboratory. Vice Dean Yang Xiaokang provided a detailed introduction to the research institute, stating that it would establish a strong collaborative partnership with Shuming Technology to create a favorable situation characterized by complementary advantages, mutual benefits, and shared development. As a partner, Chairman Chen Jianwu wished the collaboration every success and emphasized that he would provide greater support for the future development of Shuming Technology.

Finally, General Manager Xiang Liang elaborated on the cooperation model, direction, and future plans for the Joint Laboratory. He highlighted the company’s pioneering product, the “Albatross” SaaS Service Algorithm Platform V2.0, and jointly unveiled the plaque for the Joint Laboratory with Deputy Dean Yang Xiaokang.
