The 2020 Digital Insurance Agenda (DIA), Europe’s premier insurtech conference, was held online via live streaming from November 30 to December 4. The event brought together industry leaders from over 1,000 insurance, reinsurance, and insurtech companies across six continents, who showcased their innovative solutions in the insurance sector and introduced cutting-edge international insurtech developments through cloud-based presentations.
At the 2020 DIA Annual Meeting, impacted by the global pandemic, offline activities were moved online, and for the first time, a live broadcast was streamed to the Asia-Pacific region through domestic media. The well-known Chinese knowledge-sharing platform “Yike Talks” became a partner of DIA Prime Time, providing full synchronous live coverage of the DIA Annual Meeting to jointly celebrate this feast of the health-tech industry.
Miao Health, a well-known digital health management platform in China, also participated in the Deep Dives session of the 2020 DIA Conference, showcasing to a global audience how its digital health management platform empowers end-to-end solutions for the insurance industry.
DIA is Europe’s largest and most premier insurtech summit, with a mission to accelerate industry innovation by connecting insurance executives with insurtech leaders. In just two years, DIA has grown into the world’s leading “must-attend” conference on insurtech and insurance innovation. In 2019, DIA brought together more than 2,200 insurance industry participants from over 50 countries around the world.
A few weeks ago, DIA founders Roger Peverelli and Reggie de Phoenix released an overview of the latest trends in the insurance industry in the post-pandemic era, highlighting a key trend: enhanced digitalization. Now, DIA itself is following this trend, as this year’s conference in Amsterdam was broadcast for the first time via the DIA Prime Time television program.
DIA Prime Time has chosen to foster a relaxed atmosphere, creating an open platform for collaboration and dialogue among attendees from various regions. This innovative format has been dubbed “InsurTechs on the Couch” by foreign media. It is these unique features that distinguish DIA from any other conventional insurtech conference, earning it a strong reputation within the European and global insurance industries.
Notably, DIA Prime Time operates on a pay-per-view basis, with a unified global price of €1,445.95 on the official DIA website. Domestic viewers in China can enjoy a limited-time special offer of RMB 108 on the Yike Talks platform to access all DIA Prime Time content, which will be broadcast live from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM (Beijing Time) daily from November 30 to December 4.
