TreatGut
Founded in 2016, TreatGut is China’s first large-scale comprehensive biomedical technology company dedicated to human (gut) microbiome research, with business operations spanning medical diagnostics, microbiome-based therapeutics, microbiome drug R&D, and big data mining in healthcare. As a provider of holistic solutions for precision fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT), the company has established the Precision Microbiota Transplantation Therapy (PMTT) platform, leveraging extensive global research findings in gut microbiome science along with years of clinical application and technological expertise. Building on the PMTT platform, TreatGut is expanding FMT indications and advancing microbiome drug development, while constructing an integrated service system targeting gut microbiome health that encompasses disease prevention, diagnosis, therapeutic interventions, prognosis assessment, and nutritional guidance, thereby achieving lifecycle health management centered on the microbiome.
LinkDoc
LinkDoc, founded in 2014, has been dedicated to the research, development, and application of big data and artificial intelligence in healthcare. It strives to provide comprehensive big data and AI solutions for stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry, leading medical institutions, regulatory authorities, local governments at all levels, research organizations, and insurance companies, thereby driving quality, efficiency, and momentum transformations in traditional healthcare and the pharmaceutical sector. Upholding its original aspiration and mission of “Care Data Care Life,” LinkDoc has established a digital, integrated health management platform for oncology patients. This platform is centered on patient benefits, guided by value-based healthcare, supported by medical evidence, and designed to meet the needs of pharmaceutical companies, physicians, and insurers, ultimately benefiting a broader population of cancer patients.

Cancer, as one of the diseases with the most severe burden currently, is also an important high ground for the development of biomedicine. As a novel technology in clinical application, the prospect of fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) in the field of clinical oncology is gradually emerging; it not only addresses gastrointestinal toxic side effects during cancer treatment but also enhances efficacy when combined with drugs: On December 10, 2020, and February 5, 2021, studies on the combination of FMT with PD-1 inhibitors in melanoma were published in the top international journal *Science*, demonstrating significant potential to enhance the efficacy of PD-1 inhibitors and improve patient response rates.
Under the terms of the agreement, both parties will leverage their respective areas of expertise to collaborate on multiple fronts, including the formation of an expert panel in oncology, academic promotion, clinical research, and patient benefit initiatives. TreatGut aims to establish the joint development of microbiota transplantation in oncology as a cornerstone, subsequently building a pipeline of microbial drug candidates for cancer treatment and advancing them into clinical stages.
Dr. Xiao Chuanxing, founder of TreatGut, stated that LinkDoc’s clinical expert resources in oncology and its professional patient management team align with TreatGut’s future development needs, expressing the hope that both parties will establish a long-term and stable strategic partnership.
Guo Anfeng, Chief Commercial Officer of LinkDoc, stated: “TreatGut is a leading enterprise in the field of microbiome therapeutics and has achieved remarkable results in recent years. The company’s strategic direction aligns closely with China’s 14th Five-Year Plan. We firmly believe that through our joint efforts, we will accelerate clinical deployment and bring benefits to patients at an earlier stage.”
This strategic collaboration will enable both parties to fully leverage their respective strengths. As TreatGut’s national commercial partner for its gut microbiota transplantation technology in the field of clinical oncology, LinkDoc will promote the commercialization of its therapies and technologies. Drawing on its years of deep engagement in clinical oncology, LinkDoc will assist TreatGut in establishing a leading platform for scientific research and academic excellence. Guided by academic leadership and centered on patients, this partnership will drive significant market expansion into the oncology sector and facilitate TreatGut’s in-depth development in this field. In the future, LinkDoc will also participate in TreatGut’s capital operations, including investment and financing activities, marking a milestone in the strategic development of both companies.
