To further attract high-quality talent and intellectual resources from both domestic and international sources, strengthen incubation and innovation, and establish a world-leading hub for technological innovation and talent in the eye health industry, China Eye Valley, in collaboration with the Affiliated Eye Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University and other relevant entities, has planned and organized the ““2022 China Eye Valley Optometry Innovation and Entrepreneurship Global Challenge”, launch a global optometry and vision care brand competition, and establish a benchmark city for optometry and vision care in China.
Since the inaugural competition was launched in 2019, three editions have been successfully held, attracting over 400 high-level innovation and entrepreneurship teams from both domestic and international markets. Supported by a favorable industrial environment, generous policy incentives, and active market capital, a number of high-end, precision, and advanced projects have been successfully introduced to settle and take root in Eye Valley.
As a key component of the 4th World Young Scientists Summit, the 2022 International Summit on Technological Innovation and Industrial Development in Eye Health, together with the China Eye Valley Global Challenge for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Optometry, will be grandly held at the Wenzhou Airport Marriott Hotel. The forum will bring together leading industry figures, senior experts, renowned investors, and representatives from ophthalmic enterprises from both home and abroad to jointly discuss the current status and future prospects of the eye health industry under the new landscape.
