Zhu Min, General Manager of the Medical Finance Department at Huarong Rongde Asset Management Co., Ltd., delivered a speech titled “The Future Is Here: Exploring How Comprehensive Financial Services Empower the Digital Transformation and Upgrading of the Healthcare Industry.” She pointed out that digitalization has become a new engine for the development of the healthcare industry. Unlike previous stages characterized by informatization and internet integration, healthcare digitalization is now embedded in various core segments of the industry through multiple approaches. Data has emerged as a foundational resource element, reshaping the industrial value chain, fostering new business models, and driving profound transformations in organizational structures and corporate culture.

Faced with new species of digitally transformed healthcare enterprises, we cannot rely on traditional cognitive frameworks and valuation systems. Instead, a new equity investment logic will emerge, centered on data-driven business value and spanning various specialized sectors. The integration of industry and digital technology will inevitably drive the convergence of industry and finance. Future financial services will no longer focus exclusively on large corporations but will instead establish a new service system centered around highly mature, digitally versatile enterprises. Digital transformation will also spur the digital evolution of financial investment institutions themselves, encouraging investment teams to build cross-disciplinary, composite capabilities on top of their professional expertise. Huarong Rongde’s vision is to become strategic partners with digital healthcare companies, peer institutions, and third-party service platforms, thereby creating a new ecosystem for the integrated development of industry and finance through digitalization.

Calculating the Future: The Path to Innovation for Top 100 Enterprises

Jiang Xiaodong, Managing Partner at Changling Capital, delivered a speech titled “Seeing Is Believing: Reimagining the Future of Healthcare Through Innovative Services.” He pointed out that while the current enthusiasm from the capital market has ushered healthcare startups into a period of accelerated growth opportunities, healthcare remains, at its core, a slow-moving industry. Capital markets inevitably experience cycles—highs and lows, fast and slow paces, heat and coolness—but the fundamental demand for healthcare cannot be altered by capital flows. Entrepreneurs and investors alike must adopt a long-term perspective and remain steadfast, steering clear of fleeting trends and placing their faith in the power of compounding returns. Jiang Xiaodong stated that Changling Capital aims to stand alongside entrepreneurs, dedicating ten years to honing a single sword, so as to build the next generation of healthcare enterprises.

Li Tiantian, Founder and Chairman of DXY, delivered a speech titled “New Trends in the Digital Marketing Transformation of the Pharmaceutical Industry in the Post-Pandemic Era.” He noted that the key to digital innovation in the healthcare sector lies in maintaining professional credibility, fostering collaborative integration, and adhering to a user-value-centric unified objective. Given the complex ecosystem, high professional barriers, and stringent regulatory principles characteristic of the healthcare industry, it is difficult for any single enterprise to close the loop across the entire industry through solitary efforts. Li Tiantian explained that DXY has expanded its upstream ecosystem with a “user-centric” approach by deepening supply-side capabilities through collaborative co-construction, thereby establishing supply-side advantages and truly achieving the goal of “aggregating professional expertise to deliver reliable products.”

Wang Hang, Founder and CEO of Haodf Online, delivered a speech titled “Internet Healthcare Accelerates Its Shift Toward ‘Patient-Centered’ Care.” He stated that the pandemic has propelled the industry into its third phase of rapid development. Third-party platforms and public hospitals will move toward collaboration, while private offline hospitals will increasingly focus on consumer-oriented healthcare. Online services for serious medical conditions will accelerate, pharmaceuticals and medical services will gradually be decoupled, and the industry will enter a period of standardized development. Enhancing service quality with a patient-centered approach remains a significant challenge, yet it represents the most promising future worth anticipating.

The fundamental solution lies in transitioning from passive treatment to active prevention: “Only by stepping beyond the confines of medical treatment can we better address healthcare challenges; only by deeply engaging with supply can we create new supply.”

Miao Health CEO Kong Fei delivered a speech titled “How Digital Health Management Empowers Insurance Upgrading in the AIoT Era.” He noted that in the AIoT era, enhancing health management services relies on the integration of “AI + human expertise” and “online + offline” models. Miao Health’s collaborations in insurance scenarios primarily focus on helping insurers build digital middle platforms to achieve deep integration of “insurance + health management.” This empowers end-to-end insurance upgrades through innovative insurance product design, marketing and health services, intelligent underwriting and claims processing, personalized health plans, precision medical service arrangements, and offline health management stores. As a health management organization, creating value for users should always take precedence over the company’s commercial interests.

At the core of Meiwei’s informatization initiative is a patient-centered and care-centered approach, aimed at building an intelligent health ecosystem platform and pioneering new models of diagnosis and treatment. In the future, “technology” + “healthcare” will become a defining hallmark of Meiwei, as the company continues to delve deeply into the dental sector and embrace the new era of digital intelligence.

In addition, parallel sessions including the Pharmaceutical Digital Marketing Forum, the High-Value Consumables Development Forum, the Internet Hospital Innovation Forum, the Data Intelligence and Payment Innovation Forum, the Transformation of Scientific Achievements and Industrial Development Forum, and the Assisted Reproductive Technology Industry Development Forum were also held at the 5th VB100 Forum.

Over the past five years, the Future Healthcare 100 Forum has evolved into a platform where medical innovators share both their achievements and regrets from exploratory practices, and even more so, an ecosystem where new friends and old acquaintances jointly discuss the future of healthcare. The imperfections of healthcare have long troubled many people. The value of innovators to our era lies in opening up new pathways to reach better medical solutions, or in disproving the feasibility of certain optimization hypotheses. The guests attending today’s VB100 Strategic Summit come from diverse fields such as medical services, medical devices, pharmaceutical informatics, and internet healthcare. While their work may be based within or outside hospitals, and their service scenarios span every stage of the disease course, they are united in their pursuit of the optimal medical solution under objective conditions. We firmly believe that the “calculation of life” may change everyone’s life trajectory in the future.
