On May 20, 2021, Genetron Health, a leading domestic precision medicine company, and JD Health, China’s online healthcare platform, announced the comprehensive launch of their strategic partnership. The two parties will deeply integrate their respective strengths to jointly create an “internet-based innovative model for full-cycle cancer management.” This strategic collaboration marks another exploration by JD Health in the field of full-cycle cancer management, and also signifies that Genetron Health’s early screening product for liver cancer has embarked on an in-depth exploration of its fourth major commercialization pathway—the “Internet + Healthcare” platform—following its previous channels through health check-up institutions, government public welfare projects, and hospital markets.

The initial phase of collaboration will focus on liver cancer and lung cancer. Genetron Health leverages its liquid biopsy product for early liver cancer screening, HCCscreen.TM, Human 8-Gene Mutation Combined Detection Kit, in partnership with JD Health, covers cancer early screening, molecular subtyping, medication guidance, and drug resistance monitoring, providing more precise, efficient, and accessible full-cycle cancer management services to a broader user base.
