Mr. Deng Jianmin currently serves as a member of BD’s Global Operating Committee, Senior Vice President, and General Manager of Greater China. He also acts as the legal representative and Chairman for all eight of BD’s enterprises in China. Additionally, he is the founding Chairman of the AdvaMed China Council and has been re-elected to this position for four consecutive terms.

Deng Jianmin has nearly thirty years of extensive management experience in the healthcare sector. Prior to joining BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), he served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Novartis Pharmaceuticals China, and as Vice President of Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation (U.S.). Before joining Novartis, he worked at Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceuticals (Xi’an Janssen). Earlier in his career, he spent five years as a faculty member and clinician at medical schools and hospitals.Deng Jianmin graduated successively from the School of Medicine, Zhejiang University; the EMBA program at CEIBS (China Europe International Business School); and the General Management Program (GMP) at Harvard University.
