Xu Junhua, Executive Dean of the Institute of “Exercise is Medicine” Health, holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, an M.S. in Sports Medicine from Beijing Sport University, and an M.S. in Software Engineering from Hunan University. With nearly 20 years of experience in researching and promoting the integration of sports and medicine as well as exercise prescriptions for chronic diseases, he has led projects such as the Ministry of Science and Technology’s Innovation Fund Project “Health-Related Physical Fitness Management System” and “Intelligent Terminal System for Exercise Health Management,” securing patents for these innovations. He has also authored multiple textbooks, including Exercise Prescription (First and Second Editions) published by Higher Education Press, and Kinesiology for Health published by People’s Medical Publishing House.
