On March 23, international index company MSCI (Morgan Stanley Capital International) announced the latest annual Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) rating results, with Hansoh Pharma's ESG rating elevated to the globally highest level of "AAA." Previously, Hansoh Pharma had consecutively received the "AA" MSCI ESG rating for three years, maintaining a leading position in China’s pharmaceutical industry and ranking among the top global peers.
In this year's MSCI rating report, Hansoh Pharma's environmental performance and social value contribution have been further recognized, entering the ranks of global ESG leaders. Currently, Hansoh Pharma’s five key issues—corporate governance, product safety and quality, human resource development, inclusive healthcare, and toxic emissions and waste—have all reached the "ESG Leader" level.
MSCI is one of the internationally authoritative ESG index and rating agencies, and its rating results have become a mainstream investment reference in the international capital market. The upgrade from "AA" to the highest "AAA" level not only reflects MSCI's high recognition of Hansoh Pharma's commitment to innovation-driven development, deepening ESG practices, and leading corporate growth with sustainable concepts, but also fully demonstrates the company’s outstanding performance in corporate governance, scientific research innovation, product quality, inclusive healthcare, talent development, community welfare, sustainable supply chain, low-carbon environmental protection, and more.
With its continuous efforts and outstanding performance in the ESG field, Hansoh Pharma has gained widespread recognition from globally authoritative ESG rating agencies in recent years. In the latest published "Sustainability Yearbook 2026" by S&P Global, Hansoh Pharma was selected again and its score in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) continued to rise, maintaining its position as the top-ranked company in China's pharmaceutical industry for the fifth consecutive year. Additionally, the company has consecutively been listed on the CDP’s Climate Change and Water Security "Double B Rating" list, and has received numerous authoritative certifications and honors, including the "Forbes China ESG 50", "China Pharmaceutical Listed Company ESG Competitiveness List", and the "ESG Pioneer Award".
