Dear Participants,With the conclusion of the pitch presentations for the 4th Financing Accelerator Camp, this program has officially come to a close. We would like to express our sincere gratitude once again for your trust and support.
The more exceptional individuals are, the better they understand the importance of continuous learning. For this Financing Accelerator Camp, we have prepared six live-streamed sessions. The curriculum is tightly interconnected, covering topics from market development to financing negotiations. This approach enables participants to build a comprehensive understanding of the market and fundraising landscape—grounded in insights into market dynamics and the macro-environment of their respective sectors—before delving deeper into the intricacies of securing financing.
"History serves as a mirror to understand change." To this end, in the course design, Mr. Jiang Tianjiao, Dean of VCBeat Eggshell Research Institute, led us to explore the development and lessons learned in the digital healthcare industry, summarized the growth paths of digital health enterprises, and clarified that we are currently at a pivotal transition from connectivity to intervention in the digital healthcare era.
Given an understanding of the market environment and development trends, how to build a company’s capital value is the first issue we aim to help you address. Therefore, in Lesson 2, we provide an in-depth analysis of the three core components of value for digital health enterprises—technological/clinical value, commercial value, and capital value—which also represent the common value framework for healthcare and life sciences companies.
Starting from Lesson 3, the course formally delves into the topic of financing. The instructor analyzes the logic of fundraising across four key dimensions: the financing process, key financing elements, financing materials, and financing negotiations. This approach helps participants build a comprehensive understanding of fundraising, identify their own positioning and gaps, and ultimately gain mastery over the financing process.
Time spent learning together always flies by; in the blink of an eye, our 21-day program has come to an end. Yet, the conclusion of the camp does not mark the end of our journey—it simply means we will continue walking alongside you in a different capacity and from a new perspective. Within the Financing Acceleration Camp, we primarily served as instructors and senior investment and financing professionals. However, beyond the confines of this accelerator, within the broader “training ground” of entrepreneurship, VCBeat stands with you as fellow entrepreneurs. Like you, we remain steadfast in upholding our original mission.
The healthcare industry is a “heavy” sector, not only due to the inherent weight of the industry itself but, more importantly, because of the profound gravity of life. Entrepreneurs in this field must adhere to the philosophy of long-termism and remain true to their original aspirations. At the same time, they must maintain their capacity for learning to enable continuous self-evolution. As fellow entrepreneurs, we deeply understand the challenges of starting a business. Our strength lies in our extensive experience in investment and financing; we are committed to serving as your support and resource in fundraising efforts. To this end, we welcome ongoing communication with you and look forward to accompanying you on your journey toward greater success.
To support more entrepreneurs in the healthcare and medical sectors, the Financing Accelerator Camp will continue. We will share our and our partners’ industry insights and perspectives, as well as our understanding and assessment of fundraising, accompanying you every step of the way. If there are specific sectors you’d like us to focus on or questions you’d like addressed in detail during the course, please feel free to leave your comments and let us know~
