Recently, Miao Health and China Jinmao (HK.00817) have officially entered into a strategic partnership. The two parties will leverage their respective resource and technological advantages in health management, artificial intelligence, and big data. Focusing on Jinmao’s urban new towns, core urban complexes, and characteristic town projects, they will introduce new business formats such as the Miao Health·Canada Health Management Center, Health Big Data Center, and Digital Health Community to drive upgrades. This collaboration aims to enhance the overall operational capabilities of Jinmao’s “Super City Plan” and create modern healthy living spaces that offer high-quality lifestyles and warm, personalized services. Prior to this strategic partnership, Jinmao Capital, the equity investment platform under China Jinmao, had already completed a new round of investment in Miao Health at the end of 2020.

China Jinmao, a subsidiary of Sinochem Holdings Corporation Ltd., has been gradually transforming from a real estate developer into an integrated urban operator. It has progressively established and refined the “Jinmao Urban Operation Model,” which integrates industry, city, and finance. Focusing on three major industrial systems—“Big Technology, Big Culture, and Big Health”—the company has steadily expanded its presence in more than 50 core cities, creating diversified healthy living products.

Miao Health is a health technology company founded on big data of health behaviors and artificial intelligence. It is dedicated to providing personalized health management services to each user through a digital precision health management platform, and accurately recommending value-added services such as medical care, pharmaceuticals, and insurance products. By partnering with the Canadian Wellness Institute (CWI), Miao Health has introduced internationally advanced chronic disease management models and clinical practice experience into China, creating a “new species of health” that integrates medical fitness, chronic disease rehabilitation, health management, insurance protection, and new retail health—the Canadian Wellness Institute (China).

Under the strategic objectives of “Healthy China 2030,” the domestic healthcare service market, which urgently requires improvement, holds immense potential. This is particularly true in the realm of community-based medical services, offering developers ample room for growth. The strategic cooperation agreement signed with Miao Health represents a key initiative by Jinmao to enhance the functionality and quality of its existing residential projects, such as the “Fu,” “Yue,” and “Shu” series. This partnership is of significant importance for both parties as they explore the development of digital health cities and digital communities based on real estate models, thereby expanding the breadth and depth of their business landscapes.

As early as September 2019, Miao Health initiated its first collaboration with China Jinmao. The first concept store of the Canadian Health Management Center (China), a subsidiary of Miao Health Group, was established at the Beijing Jinmao Yishengyuan Hotel. Following the completion of a new round of financing for Miao Health in late 2020, China Jinmao and Miao Health recently signed a further cooperation agreement for the “Digital Health Ningbo 2030” City Headquarters Project. Centered on the “Ningbo Life Science City,” the project aims to build an urban health big data center and establish a 4,000-square-meter Canadian Health Management Center facility. By integrating high-quality international industrial resources and encouraging local residents to actively participate in health management, the initiative seeks to comprehensively upgrade regional health functions and urban vitality. Together, the parties aim to create a demonstration zone for the integration of the greater health industry and urban development, setting benchmarks for industry-city integration, tech-driven new cities, and new city operations.

According to relevant officials from China Jinmao, both parties plan to continue jointly promoting the rollout of the Canada Health Management Center (China) service projects in multiple cities across China, including major cities such as Beijing, Ningbo, Shanghai, and Nanjing. Leveraging its strengths in real estate, Jinmao will extensively develop high-quality living spaces that meet customer demands, integrating the “green and healthy” lifestyle concept into its buildings. By relying on Miao Health’s technological advantages in online and offline health management, Jinmao aims to accelerate the nationwide expansion of health management project collaborations based on city operations and property management.
