UCI MIND Symposium: Advancing Frontiers in Alzheimer's Research and Therapy

Jun 24, 2021 14:51 CST Updated 14:51

After nearly 19 years, the U.S. FDA has approved a new drug for Alzheimer’s disease for the first time, sparking widespread global discussion. This development prompts pressing questions: What are the latest advances in Alzheimer’s research and treatment? What challenges remain in the prevention and management of Alzheimer’s disease? And how should we respond to these issues?

The University of California, Irvine Institute for Memory Impairments and Neurological Disorders (UCI Mind), an Alzheimer’s disease research center designated by the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), will host an online event via Zoom on June 26, 2021, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Dr. Joshua Grill, Director of UCI Mind, will share insights from his research. You are cordially invited to attend!
