Refresh Intelligence Secures Tens of Millions in New Funding to Accelerate Mass Testing and Production of Medical-Grade Biosensors

VCBeat has learned that Shenzhen Refresh Smart Electronics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Refresh Smart”) recently closed a new round of financing amounting to tens of millions of yuan. The round was led by Leaguer Group, a subsidiary of Shenzhen Leaguer Science and Technology Innovation Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Leaguer Sci-Tech,” stock code: 002243), with co-investment from the Shenzhen Government Guidance Fund, Shenzhen Leaguer Angel Venture Capital Partnership (Limited Partnership), Shenzhen Leaguer Hongxin Venture Capital Partnership (Limited Partnership), and Shenzhen Leaguer Angel Phase II Equity Investment Fund Partnership (Limited Partnership).

 

Following this round of financing, Leaguer Group has become the second-largest shareholder of Refresh Biosensor and has appointed senior executives to serve on its Board of Directors, laying a solid foundation for the company’s sustainable future development.

 

Shenzhen Refresh Biosensor Technology Co., Ltd., established in 2016, is a national high-tech enterprise dedicated to the research and development of miniaturized intelligent biosensor platforms. Under the leadership of Academician Zhang Xueji, the company has built China’s first electrochemical intelligent biosensing platform. Its core technologies include the self-developed MS02 biosignal processing chip, nanoscale microelectrode fabrication technology, biomembrane preparation and immobilization techniques, and adaptive intelligent sensing algorithms. The platform is widely applicable in various fields, including disease diagnosis and treatment, detection of chronic disease biomarkers, environmental monitoring, public health safety surveillance, and chemical defense monitoring.
