Mr. Qian has extensive experience in successfully launching multiple products in the Chinese market, including Verzenio, Tyvyt, Elunate, Afinitor, Votrient, Sutent, Vfend, and Singulair. In addition, he led the new drug development in China for several global medications, including crizotinib, axitinib, and palbociclib.
Prior to joining LianBio, Mr. Qian served as Vice President of the Oncology Business Unit at Eli Lilly China, where he managed a team of over 700 employees and was responsible for the unit’s profit and loss as well as organizational development. Before joining Eli Lilly, Mr. Qian worked at Novartis Oncology (China) from 2012 to 2018, ultimately serving as Executive Director and Head of the Solid Tumor Division. From 2005 to 2012, he held several key positions at Pfizer, including Head of Business Liaison for the Global Clinical Development and Medical Affairs team at Pfizer’s headquarters, and General Manager of the Oncology Business Unit in China.
Mr. Qian Jiang graduated from the School of Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (formerly known as Shanghai Second Medical University).
