On August 20, the Health Industry Forum of the 5th China-Arab States Expo and the 3rd “Internet + Healthcare” Application Conference kicked off in Yinchuan, Ningxia. Chinese and international participants engaged in discussions on economic and trade cooperation and development through both online and offline channels. At the expo, the Medical and Wellness Care Exhibition Zone became a focal point for professional attendees, with innovative products in the “Internet + Healthcare” sector delivering particularly standout performances that continually broadened the horizons of domestic and international visitors.

“Mobile Hospitals,” Smart TCM Pharmacies, Home Smart Hospital Beds, Surgical Robots… At the Medical and Health Care Exhibition Zone of the Expo, leading domestic digital health companies such as WeDoctor gathered to showcase China’s innovative strength in “Internet + Healthcare” to audiences at home and abroad through live connections, interactive experiences, and cloud-based negotiations.

As China’s largest digital healthcare service platform, WeDoctor made a simultaneous offline and online appearance at this year’s expo. Its products, including the Cloud Medical Examination Vehicle and Health Pass, were selected for the National “Internet + Healthcare” Demonstration Zone Achievements Exhibition and highlighted as key features of the Medical and Elderly Care Exhibition Area.

Showcasing the Innovative Strength of “Internet + Healthcare”

During the Grand Health Industry Forum, the expo organizers invited multiple live streamers to the exhibition area to personally experience innovative applications of “Internet + Healthcare,” guiding a broader domestic and international audience through a “cloud-based tour” via live broadcasts. At the WeDoctor booth, smart healthcare products such as the Cloud Mobile Clinic Vehicle and Health Pass left a deep impression.

The WeDoctor Cloud Mobile Clinic, hailed as a “Level II Hospital on Wheels,” is equipped with intelligent diagnostic and treatment systems, medical collaboration platforms, and cloud-based Hospital Information Systems (HIS), along with smart devices such as ultrasound and electrocardiogram (ECG) units. It supports 53 specific tests and examinations across seven major categories, covers standardized diagnosis and treatment protocols for 100 diseases, and collaborates with local medical institutions to provide comprehensive healthcare services—including examinations, testing, diagnosis, prescription, and medication dispensing—right at people’s doorsteps.

WeDoctor Health General is a smart medical terminal product designed for households, communities, and enterprises. Featuring functions such as one-click consultation, family doctor services, online medication purchasing, and health indicator monitoring, it enables users to access professional, high-quality digital healthcare services from the comfort of their homes.

In addition to the two major highlights listed by the exhibition area, innovative applications such as the WeDoctor Cloud Mobile Clinic Kit and the Medical and Health Workstation were also highly favored by both on-site and online audiences. These products not only demonstrate the companies’ innovative strength in “Internet + Healthcare,” but also serve as an excellent example of how “Internet + Healthcare” empowers healthcare reform and grassroots medical services in China.

Like the “Mobile Hospital” that reaches remote rural areas, it relies on internet hospitals and adopts a new combination of “vehicle, kit, and station” (including cloud-based mobile clinics, cloud-based medical kits, and healthcare workstations). By leveraging technologies such as the Internet, the Internet of Things (IoT), big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence, it provides comprehensive healthcare services covering examination and testing, diagnosis, prescription, medication, and health insurance settlement, thereby helping to upgrade the primary healthcare service ecosystem.

Exploration: “Internet + Healthcare” Empowering the Global Landscape

Enabling “Internet + Healthcare” to empower the global community and promoting pragmatic cooperation in the broader health sector among countries and regions participating in the Belt and Road Initiative is one of the expected outcomes of this Expo. Whether online or offline, participants in the “Internet + Healthcare” ecosystem are working toward this goal.

In the cloud exhibition hall of this expo, domestic and international trade clients and professional attendees continuously engaged in “cloud negotiations” with digital health companies. The capacity for cross-regional and international development of China’s homegrown “Internet + Healthcare” innovative applications is one of the key concerns for foreign trade clients.

Taking WeDoctor’s cloud-based consultations as an example, when introducing to international clients its comprehensive innovative “Mobile Hospital” solution for grassroots public health services in China, as well as its Health Connect platform targeting families, communities, and enterprises, the functional advantages of these products in enhancing the accessibility and convenience of medical services align precisely with the core demands for “Internet + Healthcare” in countries and regions participating in the Belt and Road Initiative.

Consequently, WeDoctor’s “Mobile Hospital” has emerged as an innovative application drawing significant attention from international commercial clients. Built upon cloud-enabled mobile clinic vehicles, it can be configured with varying numbers of public health examination vehicles, mobile medical service vehicles, early cancer screening vehicles, digital radiography (DR) imaging vehicles, mobile CT scanners, and mobile (traditional Chinese medicine) pharmacies. This modular approach forms a versatile mobile healthcare service system tailored to the personalized medical needs of diverse regions, representing a high-potential product for extending the reach of “Internet + Healthcare” globally.

Meanwhile, at the Big Health Industry Forum, Ningxia is actively exploring a collaborative “government-enterprise-medical” model to advance the construction of the “Health Silk Road,” with the aim of establishing an international medical services hub and engine for the Belt and Road Initiative, thereby providing greater support for international health cooperation.
