The China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is jointly organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education, the Cyberspace Administration of China, and the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce. Centered on the theme “Technological Innovation for Grand Achievements,” the competition continuously promotes the development of an integrated enterprise ecosystem where large, medium-sized, and small businesses coexist and thrive, led by innovative frontier enterprises. It strengthens efforts to shore up weak links and fortify key segments of industrial chains, facilitates the effective integration of innovation, industry, and capital chains, enhances the modernization of industrial and supply chains, and fosters industrial synergy and coordinated regional development in national high-tech zones and other innovation hubs.

To enrich the industrial ecosystem and continuously identify high-quality innovative projects within the industry, Meinian Onehealth has partnered with ecosystem enterprises to establish a competition platform. Through this platform, it seeks win-win collaborations with technology-driven small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) via product procurement, collaborative R&D, and investment incubation. In addition to cash prizes and exposure opportunities, companies advancing to the semi-finals will have the chance to engage with over 600 health checkup centers under Meinian Onehealth for discussions on technology, products, and services. Winners of the first, second, and third prizes will be directly included in the due diligence pipeline of the group’s affiliated investment funds; those passing due diligence may secure venture capital investments ranging from RMB 5 million to RMB 20 million.

To date, the Professional Competition has cumulatively served over 860 enterprises and teams. Many high-quality participating enterprises have emerged as leaders in their respective fields, driven by their robust technological innovation capabilities.

Silicon-based Bionics is a company dedicated to the R&D and industrialization of active medical implants and medical artificial intelligence, focusing on innovative projects such as implantable retinal electrical stimulators, continuous glucose monitoring, diabetic retinopathy screening, and gastric cancer screening. In the area of diabetic retinopathy screening, Silicon-based Bionics has entered into a cooperation agreement with Meinian Onehealth Healthcare Group. The two parties jointly innovate in health examination scenarios by developing intelligent diagnostic software to complement fundus cameras, leveraging AI-assisted diagnostic technologies to build a remote diagnosis platform for diabetic retinopathy screening, thereby conducting large-scale screenings among individuals undergoing routine health checkups. In 2016, Silicon-based Bionics received investment from Zhongwei Fund of the group.

Meio CadiNav Medical is dedicated to the research and development of navigation technologies for interventional cardiology procedures and robotic systems for minimally invasive cardiac surgeries. In 2020, the company’s innovative project—a magnetic navigation platform for interventional cardiology combined with a system of magnetic catheter consumables—stood out among nearly 260 participating enterprises in the Large, Medium, and Small Enterprise Integration Professional Competition (Meinian Onehealth Healthcare Special Session) of the 9th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. It was awarded the Overall Championship in the Growth Category, earning unanimous recognition from professional judges representing the organizers and investors. The company completed its Pre-A financing round this August.

Shenbo Medical is dedicated to applying world-leading ultrasound volumetric imaging technology and AI-assisted diagnostic algorithms to the early screening and diagnosis of breast cancer, providing a full-process AI solution for breast cancer screening. In 2020, Shenbo Medical entered into a cooperation agreement with Meinian Onehealth, under which Meinian Onehealth will purchase automated breast ultrasound systems and associated diaphragm frames from Shenbo Medical, with an estimated total annual procurement amount of RMB 30 million.

As a super-platform gateway in the preventive medicine industry, Meinian Onehealth has evolved into an efficient enterprise incubation platform.
