Innovative biotechnologies are rapidly reshaping the industrial landscape of the pharmaceutical sector. From the mRNA vaccine industry, which surged to prominence during the pandemic, to the gene therapy sector, which has advanced into clinical research, these developments have shattered traditional perceptions of drugs and opened up new therapeutic opportunities for disease areas that previously lacked effective treatment options.

iPSC technology has attracted significant attention since its inception due to the boundless potential it demonstrates in various application areas. In its early development, the iPSC industry failed to rise rapidly due to a series of factors, including incomplete industrial policies and an exploratory phase in industrialization. However, in recent years, with the gradual maturation of industry-related technologies and the rapid innovation of supporting infrastructure driven by the swift development of the entire cell therapy sector, the performance and stability of iPSC products have been substantially enhanced, gradually approaching the clinical stage.

In the past two years, national policies have repeatedly emphasized promoting the development of the stem cell industry. The National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) has also successively issued policies to provide regulatory frameworks for the industry’s growth. In this context,VCBeat and VB New Medicine, in partnership with BioBAY and PKU Healthcare Innovation Valley, respectively held the Yangtze River Delta session and the Beijing session of the offline salon on the Frontier Innovations of iPSCs., focusing on the clinical translation of iPSCs and synergy across the innovation chain, we invite experts from research, industry, and investment sectors to jointly explore opportunities for industrial development, with the aim of fostering innovative breakthroughs.
