2021 China (Hangzhou) Digital Health Conference: A Premier Gathering of Academicians and Industry Leaders

Sep 23, 2021 08:00 CST Updated 08:00

Looking back at 2021, two phenomena became evident: an increasing number of healthcare institutions have embraced the concept that all operations should be digitized; and digital health is being deeply perceived, either directly or indirectly, by 1.4 billion people, suggesting that a “habitual mindset” toward digital health may have already taken shape.

Looking Beyond Phenomena to the Essence—This may reflect the cumulative strength built over decades of China’s digital infrastructure development, the continuous iteration of evolving demands from healthcare providers and patients, and the application-driven upgrades of emerging technologies. The penetration of digital technology has injected momentum into every link of the life and health ecosystem—including drug R&D, manufacturing, and distribution—ushering the digital health industry into its golden age.

This very month, in Hangzhou—the hub of Zhejiang’s digital economy—an industry forum on the pulse of digital health development is set to take place. On September 25, the 2021 China (Hangzhou) Digital Health Conference, themed “Digital Reshaping of the Life and Health Ecosystem Chain,” will be held in Hangzhou Future Sci-Tech City.Aiming to consolidate the core strengths of the industry, interpret future development trends, establish a platform that centrally showcases industry participants’ perspectives on the advancement of digital health, and explore the “optimal solution for healthcare” enabled by digital technologies.
