Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Data Bureau announced the selection results for major digital society scenarios in Jiangsu Province for 2025.Medpark enterprise Suzhou Big Vision Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Big Vision”) had its “AI Screening Scenario for Ocular Diseases” recognized as a Major Digital Society Scenario (Digital Public Services) in Jiangsu Province in 2025.

Fundus diseases have become the leading cause of blindness in China, yet they have long been plagued by low awareness, low screening rates, and low treatment rates. To address this challenge, Big Vision, in collaboration with authoritative institutions such as the National Clinical Research Center for Ocular Diseases and the Beijing Bethune Public Welfare Foundation, has deeply participated in the “Whole-Course Management of Fundus Diseases” project and the “Research on Screening and Referral for Major Blinding Fundus Diseases.” Leveraging its independently developed fully automated artificial intelligence-enabled OCT as the core platform, Big Vision has successfully established an integrated “screening–treatment–management” model for the whole-course management of fundus diseases. As of April 2026, the two projects had collectively completed early OCT screening for more than 280,000 individuals, providing a replicable and scalable “Chinese solution” to facilitate the transition from “passive treatment” to “proactive prevention and control” of fundus diseases.
