About LIANREN Digital Health
LIANREN Digital Health is China’s first health and medical big data company structured with central state-owned enterprises as lead investors, alongside participation from local governments, financial institutions, and healthcare IT companies, featuring state-owned capital as the main body and market-oriented mechanisms. With a paid-in registered capital of RMB 2 billion, it has emerged as a dynamic new force in the health and medical big data sector.
In December 2020, LIANREN Digital Health signed an agreement with the People's Government of Shandong Province to jointly establish the National Health and Medical Big Data Center (North). It was officially authorized to construct and operate health and medical big data across Shandong Province. The Northern Center became the first in China to pass the pilot evaluation by the National Health Commission and receive authorization, and it remains the only national-level health and medical big data center established through a tripartite signing involving a national ministry, a provincial government, and a municipal government.
Leveraging the data aggregation capabilities of its Northern China Center as a foundation, LIANREN Digital Health has launched the “Renshu” Big Data Platform. This platform represents the most advanced, technologically sophisticated, and secure product in the industry. By establishing a data lake with unified standards, it constructs a data middle-end, business middle-end, and open platform, thereby forming an operational service system with open capabilities. This year, the Renshu Platform completed its iterative upgrade from version 1.0 to 2.0 and rolled out related applications designed to benefit government administration, healthcare providers, enterprises, and the public, aiming to create a new application ecosystem for health and medical big data.
Targeting government departments at all levels, including health commissions, healthcare security administrations, and centers for disease control and prevention, LIANREN Digital Health actively provides efficient information-based services such as monitoring of healthcare reform, disease prevention and control, medical quality control, population health status monitoring, and public health risk monitoring.
Targeting healthcare institutions and medical professionals, LIANREN Digital Health focuses on medical imaging cloud, telemedicine, cloud-based Hospital Information Systems (HIS), cloud-based Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS), and cloud-based Diagnosis-Related Groups (DRGs) services. The aim is to establish a more diverse, high-quality, and convenient internet-based medical service system for physical hospitals. Taking emergency care as an example, intelligent ambulances equipped with smart healthcare systems can leverage 5G networks to select the optimal transportation route. Meanwhile, during patient transport, a series of examinations and monitoring, such as electrocardiograms (ECG), are completed. Pre-hospital treatment information is uploaded and shared in real time, enabling hospital-based experts to make necessary preparations before the ambulance arrives and to guide emergency medical personnel in implementing appropriate symptomatic first-aid measures, thereby maximizing the success rate of treatment for critical illnesses.
In addition to the hospital-wide informatization upgrade, LIANREN Digital Health has also built a specialized big data database and Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS) for emergency and critical care at Beijing Chaoyang Hospital, Capital Medical University, leveraging data advantages to enhance clinical decision-making and informatization in specialized diseases and disciplines.
Targeting pharmaceutical companies, LIANREN Digital Health is actively advancing digital clinical trial services, leveraging real-world evidence (RWE) studies and laboratory testing market research as entry points to highlight the value of medical big data and its novel insights, thereby empowering business decision-making and digital transformation in the life sciences sector.
Targeting insurance enterprises, LIANREN Digital Health has actively participated in the establishment of the Shanghai Huiminbao and Beijing Puhui Jiankangbao platforms. Leveraging its big data capabilities, the company helps partners achieve precise marketing, deliver data technology services, design big data-driven actuarial health insurance products, and implement smart DRG payment management for medical insurance, thereby reshaping the insurance value chain.
For health management, LIANREN Digital Health’s self-developed internet hospital platform, “Lianren Huikang,” has achieved over 2 million registered users across the entire platform, providing comprehensive lifecycle and all-scenario health management services to individual and family users. In the future, LIANREN Digital Health plans to launch the “Ai Jia Health” project, which will offer online health and medical services tailored for families.
Looking ahead, LIANREN Digital Health will continue to leverage its big data advantages, empower scientific research with technology, serve clinical practice with data, and strengthen medical-engineering collaboration. It aims to accelerate the development of smart hospitals, facilitate resource integration and process optimization, reduce operational costs, and enhance service quality, work efficiency, and management standards. By further fostering new models and formats of healthcare services, LIANREN Digital Health is committed to making greater contributions to the Healthy China initiative.
