On October 12, 2021, Huami Technology (NYSE: ZEPP) held the Amazfit 2021 Global Annual New Product Launch in Beijing under the theme “UP YOUR GAME,” unveiling the new urban fashion smartwatches, the Amazfit GTR 3 and GTS 3 series. For the first time, the Amazfit GTR 3 and GTS 3 series smartwatches are powered by Zepp OS, Huami Technology’s self-developed native smartwatch operating system, and equipped with the next-generation BioTracker™ 3.0 PPG biometric tracking optical sensor, delivering comprehensive upgrades in health, fitness, and smart features to unlock new possibilities for smartwatches.

 

At the press conference, Huami Technology also launched the Amazfit brand refresh, unveiling its Chinese name “Yue Wo” for the first time, along with a new brand logo and the slogan “UP YOUR GAME.” In the future, Amazfit Yue Wo will evolve into a brand that serves as a vessel for user self-expression, helping consumers continually discover themselves. It aims to be a partner that encourages users to explore their passion for life, committed to leveraging technology to help people better shape and express their positive selves, unlocking greater possibilities in life.

New Brand: Amazfit, Rising Upward


Six years ago, the Amazfit brand launched its first smart band, “Moon Frost/Equator,” introducing fashionable design to wearable products for the first time and creating smart accessories that are easy to match for fashion-conscious consumers. The Amazfit GTS 3 boasts a 1.75-inch Super Retina screen, delivering delicate and vivid visuals with exceptional clarity. Leveraging industry-leading flexible technology and engineering design, the Amazfit GTR 3 Pro achieves an industry-leading screen-to-body ratio of 70.6%, reducing the bezel width to just 3.5 mm. This allows it to house an expansive 1.45-inch display within a case of the same size, providing a more comprehensive view of content.

The Amazfit GTR 3 Pro is priced at CNY 1,099 for the Obsidian Black version and CNY 1,199 for the Gobi Brown version. These four new products were officially launched on October 12 at 17:00 on Amazfit’s official stores on JD.com, Tmall, Xiaomi Youpin, Youzan Mall, Douyin Store, and Sundan. They are also available simultaneously at authorized offline retailers and direct experience stores. Special introductory offers are available during the initial launch period.
