On October 16, the Internet Hospital Launch Ceremony and the Forum on High-Quality Development of Smart (Traditional Chinese Medicine) Hospitals were grandly held in Changsha, Hunan Province. Ren Xianqing, Vice President of the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Chinese MedicineDelivered a keynote report titled “Practice and Experience Sharing in the Construction of Regional Medical Centers, with Pediatric Discipline Development as a Model.” The First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Chinese Medicine established a Leading Group for the Creation of a National Pediatric Regional Medical Center, under which a Business Development Team for the Creation of a National Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Pediatric Regional Center was set up.Focusing on core research areas including pediatric nephrology, rheumatology, and immunology; pediatric respiratory and cardiovascular medicine; pediatric infectious diseases and gastroenterology; pediatric encephalopathy and neurology; and psychiatry and psychology, we will strengthen talent development, enhance the level of basic research in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and improve the capacity for diagnosing and treating complex and refractory diseases.To better promote the development of regional pediatric medical services, the hospital has actively engaged in alliance-based collaboration. Initiatives include establishing an expert committee for the construction of regional pediatric centers, forming and expanding specialized alliances or collaborative networks within the region, setting up joint personnel training mechanisms and training centers, and extending its reach to surrounding areas through trusteeship, co-construction, lecture tours, and grassroots training programs.

The National Health Commission and the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine jointly issued the Action Plan for Promoting High-Quality Development of Public Hospitals (2021–2025) (hereinafter referred to as the “Action Plan”), which specifies eight concrete initiatives for the high-quality development of public hospitals during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. Among these, the fourth concrete initiative is"Trinity" Smart Hospital, and explicitly stated:Prioritize informatization as a key area in the hospital’s infrastructure development.In active response to national policy requirements, to provide sustained momentum for the high-quality development of public hospitals, and to fully leverage the important role of public hospitals in safeguarding and improving people's livelihoods,On the afternoon of October 16, Kingdee Medical, in collaboration with the Second Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine, successfully convened the Forum on High-Quality Development of Smart (Traditional Chinese Medicine) Hospitals.
