LG Chem Enters Strategic Collaboration to Develop Novel Anti-Cancer Drug Candidate FMC-220

Gelonghui April 2 | On April 1, LG Chem announced that it had signed a strategic cooperation agreement with U.S.-based Frontier Medicines Corporation regarding the upcoming Phase I clinical trial of the anti-cancer drug candidate "FMC-220." LG Chem will obtain the global exclusive rights for development and commercialization. Through this collaboration, LG Chem will be responsible for the development and commercialization in global markets excluding China and will make corresponding upfront payments to Frontier Medicines Corporation, followed by staged payments for research and development, commercialization costs, and sales royalties.
