
On October 29, the National Center for Infectious Diseases Medicine and Beijing Ditan Hospital signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Beijing Walnut Computer Technology Co., Ltd. Attendees at the signing ceremony included Jin Ronghua, President of Beijing Ditan Hospital; Jia Wangyan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Li Xiulan, Vice President; Chen Xiaoyou, Vice President; Wu Guangqing, Chief Accountant; Li Bing, Director of the Office of the National Center for Infectious Diseases Medicine; Ren Wei, Chairman of Walnut Computer; Qi Jinhui, General Manager; and Shan Manlin, Deputy General Manager.

Jin Ronghua, President of Beijing Ditan Hospital, stated that Ditan Hospital is a Grade A tertiary hospital integrating medical care, scientific research, teaching, and prevention, with infectious diseases as its key and distinctive specialty. The hospital has consistently adhered to the development path of “specialized features and comprehensive growth,” establishing dominant disciplines in infectious diseases while building a distinctive, synergistic system of comprehensive specialties. It possesses comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities for infectious diseases, as well as advanced technologies for treating complex and critical cases. Upholding the principle of “integrating routine care with epidemic response,” the hospital actively assumes responsibility for treating major infectious disease outbreaks and other sudden public health emergencies.

As the main entity of the National Center for Infectious Diseases, Beijing Ditan Hospital will explore innovative models in data governance, knowledge curation, scientific research translation, and artificial intelligence through in-depth collaboration with Hutao Computer Co., Ltd.

Ren Wei, Chairman of Hutao Computer Co., Ltd., stated that Hutao Computer is a national high-tech enterprise and a well-known domestic provider of intelligent medical record solutions and clinical research services. The company will leverage its independently developed intelligent data-driven tools to engage in in-depth collaboration with the National Center for Infectious Diseases and Beijing Ditan Hospital across multiple fields, including infectious disease research, digital governance, and clinical diagnosis and treatment.

Today, both parties signed a strategic cooperation agreement based on their shared recognition of the value of medical data elements and future development trends, focusing on the research and development of key technologies and standards for healthcare data, as well as platform and system construction. Moving forward, they will adhere to the cooperative principles of “complementary advantages, collaborative innovation, common development, and mutual promotion” to jointly build a win-win, sustainable strategic partnership.
