Lisen and Xingyao forged their partnership through the Merck China Innovation Center Accelerator Program. Building on mutual recognition of each other’s technologies, the two parties joined forces and officially signed an agreement in November 2020 to jointly develop innovative drugs for lung cancer. This event, comprising both the announcement of key milestone achievements and the signing ceremony for deepened collaboration, aims to unveil the project’s significant interim results and formalize an expanded partnership across additional indications.

At the press conference, both parties statedThe collaborative development project for innovative lung cancer drugs is a process of technological complementarity and integration of strengths between both parties.Lisen identifies distinct biological phenotypes using its proprietary epigenetic imprinting technology to pinpoint key targets for drug design. Xingyao Tech leverages cutting-edge artificial intelligence for small-molecule drug design, enabling the efficient discovery of promising compound molecules.

At the conference, both parties announced that they had identified candidate drugs with high potency capable of overcoming drug resistance., this drug holds promise for bringing new hope to patients with small cell lung cancer and those who are resistant to existing treatment regimens. Moving forward, both parties will further collaborate to advance the subsequent development of this drug, striving for its early entry into clinical trials and market launch.

Meanwhile, both parties announced that they would expand new collaborative projects on the basis of continuing to advance the current project, engage in extensive cooperation across more indications, further deepen the strategic layout of “imprinted genes + artificial intelligence,” and formally sign an agreement to deepen their collaboration.
