The integration of technology and healthcare is a key driver for China to achieve the “Healthy China 2030” goals and establish a high-quality healthcare service system centered on people’s health. According to the Outline of the “Healthy China 2030” Plan, China aims to position itself among the world’s leaders in overall strength of health science and technology innovation by 2030, and to fully leverage modern technological innovations such as the internet and big data to transform models of healthcare service delivery.

Meanwhile, the Vaccine Administration Law enacted in 2019 requires vaccine manufacturers to establish electronic traceability systems, strengthen quality management throughout the entire vaccine lifecycle, and assume responsibility for the safety, efficacy, and quality controllability of vaccines, which will also encourage the accelerated development of digital technologies in the vaccine sector.

For a century, Sanofi Pasteur has been committed to safeguarding human health, never ceasing its pace of innovation. Sanofi Pasteur markets more than 20 vaccines worldwide, covering the entire human lifespan. It supplies over 1 billion vaccine doses globally each year, providing immune protection to 500 million people.

Sanofi Pasteur is actively engaged in the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, driving multiple innovative initiatives to advance China’s immunization and disease prevention sector and explore solutions for the future. These initiatives include: establishing China’s first and currently only foreign-invested vaccine manufacturing facility; pioneering China’s first model city-level immunization program strategy; creating a high-level international academic exchange platform in the field of vaccines; and building China’s first international vaccine innovation center to serve as a global hub for vaccine innovation.

Olive Branch Health aligns with the “Healthy China” strategy’s emphasis on prevention first, striving to become a practitioner of preventive health in China through digitalized primary healthcare services. Olive Branch Health focuses on preventive medicine sectors such as vaccination, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing. With primary healthcare service scenarios at its core, digital empowerment as its tool, and smart operations aimed at promoting public health, the company is committed to expanding the reach of health services and building the first line of defense for public health.

Sanofi Pasteur has entered into a strategic partnership with Olive Branch Health to comprehensively explore and build a digital ecosystem for vaccines, integrating vaccine protection with digital capabilities. Leveraging innovation in the fusion of vaccines and digital technology, the two parties aim to construct a new vaccine ecosystem, enhance vaccine awareness and accessibility, and provide safer and more convenient vaccination services to recipients. Focusing on digital applications in vaccine management, they will jointly promote the implementation of a new service ecosystem spanning from education to vaccination, thereby increasing vaccination coverage and convenience. This collaboration seeks to establish a safe vaccination barrier for the public and children, contributing to China’s immunization endeavors.
