Mindtrix was founded in October 2024. It is a technology company specializing in the research and development of medical-grade invasive brain-computer interface products.
The founder of Mindtrix isLiu Bing, a Ph.D. in Neurobiology from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, has conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Chicago, Duke University, and the University of California, Berkeley.
During his postdoctoral research at the University of California, Berkeley, he studied under Jose M. Carmena and Miguel Nicolelis. Jose was the first author of the world's first implantable brain-computer motor control technology, and Miguel is known as the "father of brain-computer interfaces."
Chief ScientistZhang LiWith a strong academic background in neuroscience, graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China, then pursued further studies in the United States, obtaining a Ph.D. in Neurobiology from the University of California, Berkeley.
In the past year, Mindtrix has made several breakthrough advancements in the field of implantable brain-computer interface visual reconstruction.
In 2025, Mindtrix achieved the world's first IIT functional validation for quantifying complex graphics and color perception, followed byChina's First Brain-Computer Interface "Grayscale Information Visual Reconstruction".
