2021 'Innovation to Impact, Entrepreneurs Meet Partners' IVD Elite MedTech Entrepreneurship Camp Announced

As a critical segment of the healthcare sector, the in vitro diagnostics (IVD) industry has experienced rapid growth since 2011, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) exceeding 20%. The ongoing spread of the COVID-19 pandemic has further propelled the IVD industry into the spotlight. Molecular diagnostic technologies have played a pivotal role in China’s efforts to control the pandemic, thereby highlighting the significant potential of the IVD sector to investors.

The 2021 “Innovation Translation, Entrepreneurship Partnership” IVD Elite Medical Innovation Camp is set to launch on December 17–18! This session of the Medical Innovation Camp is jointly sponsored by Tellgen Corporation, Yangpuwan, Aupu Bio, Yuanzan Life, and HiMed Medical Angel Fund, aiming to facilitate the translation of new technologies and projects in the IVD sector by connecting them with capital and enterprises. Given the numerous challenges in IVD technology translation, we will provide systematic insights from multiple perspectives, including market positioning, early-stage financing, team building, and CDMO services. Additionally, renowned entrepreneurs in the IVD industry will serve as mentors, and HiMed will provide seed funding to comprehensively support the innovative translation of early-stage IVD projects. II. Admission Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above, with a preference for Ph.D. holders; majors in medicine, engineering, computer science, or related fields;

2. Possess experience in clinical diagnostics, R&D of reagents/equipment/software, operations management, and sales within the IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics) medical field;

3. Recommendations from partners may be subject to appropriately relaxed criteria.

High-sensitivity home-based POCT, multi-omics testing technologies, single-cell analysis, and related projects.

Innovative projects including digital POCT, chemiluminescence immunoassay (CLIA), molecular microfluidics, and antigen/antibody raw materials.

Authorized Development of Molecular Diagnostic Hardware Platforms and LDTs Channel Collaboration Project.

Invest in new IVD technology projects, including mass spectrometry, single-cell sequencing, gene editing, and gene therapy, with individual investments ranging from RMB 1 million to 10 million.
