OrigiMed Announces Strategic Collaboration with Janssen to Co-Develop Data-Driven Clinical Innovation Solutions

(Shanghai, China) On December 3, 2021, Zhiben Medical Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (“Zhiben Medical”) announced that it had jointly signed a “Strategic Cooperation Memorandum of Understanding” with the Janssen Research & Development (China) Center under Johnson & Johnson (China) Investment Co., Ltd. (“Janssen”), thereby establishing a strategic partnership. Dr. Li Zili, Head of Janssen Asia Pacific R&D; Dr. Zheng Yi, Head of the Janssen Asia Pacific Center of Excellence for Translational Science; Dr. Wang Kai, CEO of Zhiben Medical; and Ms. Zhao Ping, Senior Vice President of the Pharmaceutical Company Collaboration Division at Zhiben Medical, jointly attended the “Signing Ceremony of the Strategic Cooperation Memorandum of Understanding between Janssen and Zhiben Medical.”

Both parties will leverage real-world study databases, their robust scientific research capabilities, and extensive medical resources to optimize clinical trials and patient enrollment, jointly develop innovative clinical solutions, accelerate the development and commercialization of companion diagnostic products and anti-tumor drugs, and provide more comprehensive health management solutions for clinical patients.

Pursuant to the Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Cooperation, both parties will explore further strategic cooperation in the following areas:
