Chongqing Municipality attaches great importance to the development of the biopharmaceutical industry and strives to establish it as a new pillar industry during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. Leveraging the “Upgrading Industrial Engines · Empowering a Healthy and Prosperous Chongqing” event, which brings internationally renowned biopharmaceutical companies to Chongqing, the city aims to gather biopharmaceutical innovations and jointly chart the course for the development of the health industry.

The event invited 17 internationally renowned biopharmaceutical companies, including Pharmaron, Fapon Biotech, Suning Pharma, BGI Genomics, Simcere Pharmaceutical, YuCe Bio, Boyi Capital, AstraZeneca, GE HealthCare, Roche Pharmaceuticals, BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), AbbVie, Getein Biotech, Junshi Biosciences, Sanofi, Chia Tai Tianqing, and XtalPi, to Chongqing to discuss collaboration for mutual benefit and promote industrial upgrading.
