XsellSmart Announces Completion of Approximately RMB 500 Million in C/C+ Round Financing; Funds to Propel Multiple iPSC-Derived Neural Cell Drugs into Key Clinical Stages and Enhance Scalable Production and Quality Management Capabilities for Related Products.
Data shows that XsellSmart is focused on developing "allogeneic" and "off-the-shelf" iPSC-derived cell therapies, primarily targeting neurological diseases such as Parkinson's disease, spinal cord injury, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Centivax announced the completion of an oversubscribed $37 million financing round, which will support a Phase 2 trial planned for early 2027 involving 500 participants to evaluate the superiority of Centi-Flu 01 over existing seasonal flu vaccines in terms of broad-spectrum protection efficacy; the funds will also drive four subsequent clinical candidate programs (covering cancer therapies, malaria vaccines, universal antivenoms, and preventive Alzheimer’s vaccines) toward production and clinical readiness. ABL Bio announced an additional investment of $25 million (approximately 37.7 billion Korean won) in its subsidiary NEOK Bio through a third-party定向增发. The company will use this funding to accelerate the clinical trial process of ROR1×B7-H3 bispecific antibody ADC drug ABL206 (NEOK001) based on a topoisomerase I inhibitor payload and EGFR×MUC1 bispecific antibody ADC drug ABL209 (NEOK002).
