Ding Jian, an oncology pharmacologist and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. He received his Ph.D. from Kyushu University in Japan in 1992. He currently serves as Dean of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Director of the Cancer Research Center at the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He previously served as Director of the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences (2004–2013).

Long-term commitment to the research and development of molecularly targeted anti-tumor drugs and personalized medicine, with a primary focus on protein kinases, epigenetics, and tumor immunology.As one of the principal inventors, I have developed 16 candidate new drugs that are currently in various stages of clinical research, ranging from Phase I to Phase III. Among these, six candidate drugs are undergoing concurrent clinical trials in the United States, Japan, and Australia, while two novel anti-tumor drugs are seeking marketing approval. Focusing on biomarkers and resistance mechanisms associated with anti-tumor therapies, we have identified biomarkers for more than ten molecularly targeted drugs and developed multiple combination regimens. InCellCancer CellCell ResPublished over 340 papers in journals and filed more than 300 domestic and international invention patents.Recipient of more than ten major awards, including two Second Prizes of the National Natural Science Award, the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the Second National Innovation Excellence Medal, the Chinese Academy of Sciences Outstanding Scientific and Technological Achievement Award, and the Tan Jiazhen Life Science Achievement Award.

Epidemic Prevention Reminder

1. A health declaration form must be completed prior to the meeting; the organizer will send the completion link via SMS in advance.
