On March 1, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology officially released the “List of the Second Batch of Beijing ‘Specialized, Refined, Differential, and Innovative’ (SRDI) Little Giant Enterprises for 2021.” Leveraging its outstanding original innovation capabilities in the field of AI healthcare, Infervision has further advanced to become an SRDI Little Giant Enterprise, having previously been recognized as a Beijing SRDI Enterprise in the first batch in 2020. As the only AI healthcare company selected in this round, Infervision’s strength in hard technology has once again been affirmed.

Since its establishment in 2016, Infervision has rapidly grown into a leading enterprise in the AI healthcare industry. It is the first and only AI medical technology company to have received regulatory approval in the four major healthcare markets of China, the United States, the European Union, and Japan. Upholding the mission of “AI for Better Health,” Infervision is committed to building a globally leading brand for hospital-wide AI solutions. Guided by its strategic layout of “horizontal breadth, vertical depth, and internationalization,” Infervision has developed a comprehensive, multi-dimensional product portfolio. Horizontally, it covers multiple disease areas, including cancers (lung cancer, liver cancer, breast cancer), infectious diseases (pneumonia, tuberculosis), cardiovascular diseases (coronary heart disease), cerebrovascular diseases (stroke), and trauma (fractures). Vertically, it spans disease screening and diagnosis (InferRead series), disease intervention and treatment (InferOperate series), patient health management (InferCare series), and medical research (InferScholar and InferMatrix). Its products are deployed in more than 400 medical institutions across nearly 20 countries worldwide, providing governments, healthcare institutions, physicians, and patients with a one-stop, end-to-end smart healthcare solution encompassing “screening, diagnosis, treatment, management, and research.” Infervision is also one of the few AI healthcare companies in the industry that possesses the integrated advantage of “diagnosis and treatment.”

Multiple data points indicate that Infervision has accumulated substantial strength in the path of original innovation. It is reported that Infervision currently boasts an R&D team of over 110 members who possess strong academic backgrounds and extensive professional experience in both AI and clinical fields, with more than 40% holding master’s or doctoral degrees. The company continuously conducts breakthroughs in key core technologies, holds more than 200 patents domestically and internationally, and has published over 70 papers in SCI-indexed and core journals. These publications include top-tier journals such as JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association), The Lancet Digital Health, IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, JACC: Cardiovascular Imaging, IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, and Radiology: Artificial Intelligence, accumulating over 1,000 citations. Furthermore, multiple research findings from Infervision have been presented at conferences including the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and CVPR. Its scientific achievements have been cited by renowned domestic and international universities and research institutions such as Harvard University, Johns Hopkins University, Peking University, Wuhan University, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, continually enhancing its international influence.

Leveraging its deep expertise in technological research and development, Infervision has undertaken numerous national, provincial, and municipal-level sci-tech R&D projects. It was selected as one of the enterprises to undertake key tasks for next-generation artificial intelligence industrial innovation by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) during 2018–2020, ranking first in the medical imaging computer-aided diagnosis category. The company has been accredited as a National High-Tech Enterprise, a Zhongguancun High-Tech Enterprise, and a Beijing Intellectual Property Demonstration Unit, among other qualifications. Its products have been included in the First Set of Major Technical Equipment Certification (Beijing, Anhui), the Beijing New Technology and New Product Certification, the List of Excellent Domestically Produced Medical Equipment, and the Zhongguancun Innovation Procurement Catalog.

“Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative” (SRDI) is a major national initiative designed to encourage small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to pursue a development path characterized by specialization, refinement, distinctiveness, and innovation. This initiative aims to enhance independent innovation capabilities and core competitiveness, thereby continuously improving the quality and level of SME development. Among these, “Little Giant” enterprises stand out as the elite within the SRDI cohort, representing the most authoritative and highest-level honorary title awarded in Beijing’s SME evaluation system. Companies granted this title are leading firms that focus on niche markets, possess strong innovation capabilities, hold high market shares, master key core technologies, and demonstrate superior quality and efficiency.

As the sole AI healthcare company selected, Infervision has received multifaceted recognition from relevant authorities for its technological strength, product capabilities, and growth potential in the field of AI-driven healthcare. Moving forward, Infervision will continue to intensify its efforts in original innovation and market expansion, deepen its development as a “specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative” enterprise, fulfill its role as a model “Little Giant” firm, and contribute to technological advancement and the well-being of the public in healthcare.
