Qingyun Technology announced today that it has signed a digital promotion agreement for county-level markets with AstraZeneca China, launching an in-depth collaboration in the vast county-level market across selected areas of 12 provinces in mainland China, covering 375 districts and counties. The partnership will carry out academic promotion for multiple AstraZeneca products across various therapeutic areas, including respiratory diseases, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions, through both online and offline channels.

Under this promotional agreement, Qingyun Technology will leverage its independently developed digital platform to provide personalized and precise academic services to primary care physicians through AI-driven online and offline engagement. Meanwhile, by capitalizing on AstraZeneca’s mature market strategies and exceptional medical expertise, this collaboration will further facilitate the availability of high-quality medicines in primary healthcare institutions, thereby benefiting more patients across China.

Qingyun Technology and AstraZeneca’s collaboration in digital promotion is built upon their successful prior pilot partnerships in community hospital markets and county-level markets in other provinces. This deepened cooperation, centered on the county-level market, represents a significant upgrade in both the scope of collaboration and the forms of promotion as the two parties continue to explore digital marketing strategies for grassroots markets.

The county-level pharmaceutical market boasts substantial volume, and with the advancement of national tiered diagnosis and treatment policies, it has become a key component of pharmaceutical companies’ strategic layouts. To address issues inherent in traditional digital promotion models—such as the disconnect between online reach and offline promotion, lack of effect tracking, and one-size-fits-all academic content—Qingyun Technology and AstraZeneca have jointly developed an integrated online-to-offline (O2O) digital promotion solution. Leveraging its experience in providing multi-tiered academic services to medical institutions and physicians, and fully integrating AstraZeneca’s deep industry insights with Qingyun Technology’s intelligent engine and deep learning algorithms, the partnership has established an omnichannel digital promotion model. This model precisely meets physicians’ demands for high-value, highly relevant medical knowledge.

Yan Guowei, CEO of Qingyun Technology, stated, “Leveraging Qingyun Technology’s algorithmic expertise and intelligent engine honed in the primary healthcare market, combined with AstraZeneca’s professional medical affairs capabilities and industry experience, we are confident in jointly creating an innovative omnichannel digital academic promotion solution for the county-level market. We aim to harness the power of technology to empower primary care physicians academically and enhance their diagnostic and treatment standards.”
