Recently, Wanxiang Group, together with the Minsheng Tonghui Public Welfare Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the “Tonghui Foundation”), provided charitable subsidies in the form of “Love Vouchers” for free clinic consultations to experts who are actively offering free online medical consultations to Shanghai residents on the WeDoctor platform. Shanghai residents can claim these “Love Vouchers” through WeDoctor’s “Shanghai Real-Time Consultation Channel.” For each voucher used, the participating physicians will receive a charitable subsidy donated by Wanxiang Group and the Tonghui Foundation, while WeDoctor will make a matching donation at a 1:1 ratio. The value of each Love Voucher ranges from RMB 5 to RMB 20.

As a digital platform, WeDoctor has become a vital force in responding to major public health emergencies and medical crises. Through online donations facilitated by the Wanxiang Group and the Tonghui Foundation, this initiative helps alleviate the current shortage of offline medical resources. This effort not only better meets the urgent need for online consultations among Shanghai residents during pandemic lockdowns, thereby easing their anxiety and stress, but also provides timely recognition to the volunteer physicians offering free consultations on the platform. Furthermore, it encourages more medical experts across China to join this charitable cause, supporting Shanghai in winning the battle against the epidemic under the watchful care of the “Airborne White Angels.” Amid the dynamic and mutually supportive anti-epidemic efforts, Wanxiang has continuously supported the online “anti-epidemic” platform, delivering tangible services and solutions to society. Through these concrete actions, Wanxiang contributes to Shanghai’s pandemic response, actively fulfilling its corporate social responsibility and demonstrating its commitment to societal well-being.

It is reported that in early February 2020, at the outset of the COVID-19 outbreak in Wuhan, Wanxiang Group, together with the Tonghui Foundation and WeDoctor, jointly launched the “Real-Time Relief Platform for COVID-19,” donating RMB 30 million to provide the public with continuous free online consultation services. According to platform data, as of now, Wanxiang Group, the Tonghui Foundation, and WeDoctor have collectively facilitated nearly 80,000 doctor consultations and served a cumulative total of 6 million patients.

It is reported that WeDoctor has launched the [“Unwavering Commitment Amid the Epidemic, Safeguarding Shanghai’s Health” – Real-Time Medical Consultation Channel for Shanghai], and has mobilized nearly 5,000 physicians from major medical institutions in Shanghai to participate in free clinic activities. These efforts provide Shanghai residents with a variety of healthcare services, including online consultations, discounted free clinics, psychological counseling, health guidance, and home-based health management.
