2. New Rules for Consumables Renewal Issued

Recently, Hubei Province issued a notice to officially launch the renewal of the second procurement year agreement for the artificial joint continuation procurement and the orthopedic trauma category provincial alliance centralized procurement. Regarding the artificial joint procurement, medical institutions do not need to re-report the quantity for the selected products in the second procurement year. In principle, the total procurement volume should be three times that of the first procurement year. There are clear minimum limits for the annual agreement procurement volume within the same product system category. Adjustments are allowed between different selected product systems of the same company and product system category. Unfulfilled volumes from the first procurement year will accumulate into the second year. A reduction in procurement volume due to special reasons requires an explanation submission. New procurement demands can be added for unreported selected product systems intended for purchase. For the orthopedic trauma category procurement, medical institutions have already reported the agreement procurement volume for the second procurement year, which can be viewed by logging into the provincial procurement management subsystem. Additionally, requirements related to product supplementary listings and tripartite agreement signings are also involved. (Eshare Medical Device News)
