Like a Spring Breeze Overnight: The Assisted Reproductive Technology Sector Surges Once Again.

In 2021, China’s natural population growth rate was 0.34 per thousand, a decline of 1.11 percentage points from 2020, marking the country’s formal entry into an era of zero population growth. Coinciding with this demographic shift is a high prevalence of infertility. Due to the long-standing one-child policy, infertility among older women had been largely overlooked. Following the implementation of the universal two-child policy in 2015, the proportion of births to advanced maternal age mothers (generally defined as pregnant women aged 35 and above) in tertiary hospitals rose from 12.54% in 2015 to 17.43% in 2017. Approximately one in every five or six couples experiences infertility, and assisted reproductive technology (ART) is considered one of the most effective treatments for infertility.

Currently, the three-child policy has not yet shown a significant impact on assisted reproductive technology (ART) services, whereas the two-child policy has had a more pronounced effect, particularly among couples born in the 1970s. Meanwhile, relevant local government departments have recently expressed growing interest in including ART in medical insurance coverage.

Driven by favorable population policies, the assisted reproductive technology (ART) industry is accelerating. Amid rising infertility rates, the ART services market has attracted significant attention, with strong optimism from capital markets. The influx of social capital into the ART sector underscores growing investor confidence in its investment prospects. Based on this,VCBeatCombinationJianshi Bureau Holds "Forum on Innovative Development of Assisted Reproductive Technology"The forum will focus on current hot topics in reproductive medicine, clinical applications and discussions in reproductive medicine, and industry prospects. It will bring together top domestic reproductive experts and industry leaders for exchange and dialogue. Leveraging their keen insights into the industry and professional medical expertise, they will jointly create a premier platform for communication and collaboration in the field of assisted reproduction.

Starting with an analysis of assisted reproductive technology (ART) policies, this forum aims to comprehensively map the industry from upstream to downstream. By integrating recent policy changes, it dissects the opportunities and challenges across each segment and subsector of the value chain, offering forward-looking insights into the future development direction of China’s ART industry.

Top industry leaders will discuss the following issues. Let’s unveil the conference highlights in advance!
