China's First DNA Storage Blue Paper to Be Unveiled at the 2nd Frontier Forum on DNA Data Storage

Jun 24, 2022 10:00 CST Updated 10:00

Current storage media fall far short of meeting the demands of big data storage. Low cost, high density, long-term retention, and low energy consumption will define the future direction of data storage development. This reflects the requirements for data storage in the era of big data, as well asThe Core Value of DNA Storage Technology

Following the enthusiastic response to the inaugural Frontiers Forum on DNA Data Storage, hosted by the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the second Frontiers Forum on DNA Data Storage will be held on July 23, 2022, at the Exchange Center of the Sino-German (Changzhou) Innovation Industrial Park in Jintan District, Changzhou City. Concurrently, the launch event for China’s first “Blue Book on DNA Storage” will take place (available free of charge on-site, limited to 100 copies).

As one of the key agenda items of the “Maoshan Health Forum” — Jintan Summit on the Integrated Development of the Digital Economy and the Life and Health IndustryThe 2nd Frontier Forum on DNA Data Storage and the Blue Book Launch Event, jointly organized by the Jintan District People’s Government, BGI Genomics Co., Ltd., the Industry-Academia Alliance for DNA Data Storage, and GeneThink, will feature attendance by several academicians and has received support from multiple institutions, including the China National GeneBank, MGI, Tencent Cloud, LC-Bio, and Tsingke Biotechnology.
