35Pharma Focuses on the Development of Novel Protein Therapies in the TGF-β Superfamily, with its Core Pipeline HS235 Being a Clinically Developed Activin Signaling Pathway Inhibitor with Best-in-Class Potential for Treating Cardiopulmonary Diseases. HS235 has Completed Phase I Clinical Trials and is About to Initiate Clinical Studies for Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) and Pulmonary Hypertension Associated with Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction (PH-HFpEF). The Drug has Been Optimally Designed for Higher Selectivity towards Activin Receptors, Reducing Binding to BMP9 and BMP10 Ligands, Thereby Lowering Risks of Adverse Events Such as Bleeding and Capillary Expansion. It Also Demonstrates Unique Metabolic Benefits Including Selective Fat Reduction, Maintenance of Lean Body Mass, and Improvement in Insulin Sensitivity.

This acquisition will strengthen GSK's pipeline layout in the fields of respiratory, immunology and inflammation (RI&I), and cardiometabolic diseases, filling the gap in product reserves for pulmonary arterial hypertension treatment.
